JJ, What did you think of the character of Mcmanus when he first came in and what do you think of it now?
Ive always like your character actually.I think you have worked well to develop him as time has progressed and I expect you to continue to climb the ladder.I like the aggressive wrestler type style that you have going on.
best Rivalry to date?
Me vs Cassius. The intensity from beginning to end was amazing, really brought out the best in both of us.And its amazing because I could see it happening over and over again without it getting stale.
best show you have written?
Very difficult to say because I have enjoyed writing so man.Probably a toss up between Born in Fire this year and Destiny this year with the Leone/Dicey Chamber of Horrors match and the Gold Rush Battle Royale

You'll have to ask Mat that.I'm not really sure,I am happy to feud with anyone aslong as I can get a good retort of promos going with them.

Favourite Character to write for in the shows?
If we are talking about in ring, then it's Hero every day of the week because I always imagined him to have no limits and therefore I could have him do any moves and it seemed so easy to write for him.
If we are talking outside of the ring then I have never been more happier writing for Keith Leone at the moment in 6CW.I really like how his character has developed.
Special mention though to the comedy skits I managed to do between Lex and Dicey,I even cracked myself up with a couple of those

Do you ever get weeks where you just can't be arsed to write?
If so, how do you overcome this and still deliver a quality show?

Yeah I do,and believe it or not I really had one when it was Born in Fire week.

I don't know what it is but I feel like I have a duty to post good quality. There are nights when I won't go to bed until 3-4 because I'm not satisfied with what I have produced.Sometimes I post shows and still am not 100% happy with them but I can't get it right all the time.

Re: Q&A with JJ
I used to like reading Sainty and Acer's matches when they were commishes.
I liked the comedy aspect of the BMPA matches and I also liked the 3 stages of Hell match that you wrote for me against TGA.Dicey can knock up a decent match aswell.
But most of all it's Mat's writing that I enjoy because I think he really brings the story to life and thats what I like.
But it is very interesting reading other styles to my own.Abit of a copout there I know but there are plenty of good writers around.

Crime Lord.I think he did great when he ran Shutdown and I think he knows how to bring a fed up to a high level.
I don't envisage a time in the very near future where I would have to give up writing but Crime Lord would be someone I would feel happy leaving in charge.

Are there any decisions you have taken as Commissioner of either fed, which you later found to be wrong?
Have you ever had to take aversive action to correct a decision you got wrong?

I will always regret the fact that it was my decision to push Tyson Armstrong to the moon and never got anything back from it.
I also regret the 6CW/6WF invasion because I tried hard to make it work but nobody else seemed interested so failure was always on the cards.
I also felt I short-changed Abe earlier in his career in 6WF,through very narrow mindedness.
Have you ever had to take aversive action to correct a decision you got wrong?
I wanted to be the one to put Abe over for the world title (if that counts) because I felt he deserved the get the best of me.
I gave up my world title to Median because I felt 6CW got treated like crap in our invasion storyline.

I enjoyed it,I was just getting started then and I really appreciated how easier it was to approach you than River.I do however feel that sometimes you allowed your personal differences with River get in the way of producing the best that you were capable of.I think we can both admit that being younger (and perhaps rebellious at the time) we made a few decisions for certain stars that we shouldnt have.
Would you like to see The Coalition return one day?
I very much would, perhaps we could have a proper run as a tag team.Even incorporate a newer member into the mix and show them the ropes.I think the fact that JJ & Saint always want to be world champion will keep some nice friction in the mix.

Where can I potentially improve The Saint?
I think now you have the Grand Slam it's about proving a point that there is nobody better than you.Whether it is defending your Hardcore Title or if you move up into the main event (which I could see with the level of your promos) I think The Saint needs to let everyone know that it's going to take something spectacular to stop him.
I also think a complete and utter identification is necessary.Perhaps it's not your fault but I dont think it helps when your a face, and then your a heel, and then your abit of a tweener.
I think you can play all of the roles very well but just choose one and run with it because then I expect very great things.

I had reservations because I didnt know where the character could go.I am glad she stuck around though because she might just be my favorite character.
And where did you learn to speak black?
Listening to rap music, watching films about black people. It all just sort of stuck in my head.

I dunno really. An interesting question. My character was never meant to be a sole representation of the Rock, more like a mix of Rock/Elijah Burke and Tupac
But I do think I have alot of the same characteristics of the Rock (he is my all time favourite) and perhaps my character is what RockV2 could and should have been.

There should have been a sit down there discussion where we outlined every superstar that was going to be used in the invasion.
There should of been a few more titles changing hands and 6CW should have been made to look a damn sight better than they were.
River was unwilling to let the certain stars lose matches and the same with the 6CW Owner at the time,I was the only one saying that things had to swing both ways.
There should of been a few defectors from each brand, really mixing things up and getting people involved.
But instead it just fell by the wayside.

Why Elijah Burke?
Elijah Burke should have been the next big star in WWE,in my opinion. He is now the Pope over in TNA (and they have screwed him over aswell).
He used to do a little show on WWE.com and it was fantastic. He has amazing mic skills but nobody ever gave him the chance to go for it.

The biggest missed opitunity the commishes have missed in 6WF/6CW:
During my time as a commish:
Not making Abe Abercorn a world champion sooner
The Hobo heel-turn (the one time I feel like I really fluffed my lines as a commish)
Not letting Snake Eyes win the world title at Born in Fire
Since the inception of 6CW/6WF:
Not making Max Adamson world champion
I dont think I have made any "mistakes" since taking over 6CW,at least I hope not.And I want that to continue.

Re: Q&A with JJ
Where do you think The Scorpion can improve?
In quite a few ways.He needs a solid direction,so that the "audience" really knows where his character is supposed to be heading.
He needs a story, what do we actually know about him?
He needs to learn to stand on his own two feet,it's great having a mentor like Demon, but it would be nice to know that all the work he produces is his own after awhile.
He needs to learn to take advantages of the opportunities he has been afforded. He gets chance after chance to promo with some of the best and I feel like he takes liberties with it.If you don't take your chances then they can easily be passed onto someone who will take them.
When will Scorpion be world champ?
Not within the next 12 months unless he really knuckles down and starts to show us that he really wants this. There are plenty of guys on this roster who are very capable of getting to the top.
Oh,and start doing some proper promos for Wilson Maine...the same points above apply to both characters.

Who do you think the greatest 'go to' guy is?
Ive been fortunate enough to have alot of guys to talk things through with during my time here.
In 6WF i can't look past Mat for discussing wrestling matters and in 6CW it has to be Dicey.
But if I am talking about just talking with guys away from here then I have always appreciated being able to talk with you and Demon.Hobo was there aswell to drop me a few emails when I went through a rough patch in life so I will always thank him for that.

I'm loving the work of alot of newbies right now.
In 6WF it's a tossup between,Dragon,McManus and Logan Kincade but if I have to pick one it would be McManus, who although was on the losing side I think he really produced some good stuff.
If it's down to who has the best chance to kick on now and achieve something, well Dragon is in a great position considering he holds the Freshers Ball contract and that could open alot of doors with the right kind of promos.
In 6CW,the efforts of Cable who writes for Team Japan have been nothing short of amazing.

Demon.Name me one feud that he has had that never panned out?
There hasnt been one because the intensity that he brings with the Cassius character is a sure-fire way to make sure that his opponent brings their A game.

Re: Q&A with JJ

I do read every promo, and sometimes you get days where it is tedious but it has to be done.
Sometimes if I notice something crucial in a promo then I will include it in a match write-up so that we can enhance a storyline.
Promos very much influence storylines, because if your not promoing then I can't make you look very good in a feud (well I can but that would be unfair on your opponent).
Promos sometimes won't directly effect a result that week but over the course of a month/two month period then if you are more consistent and better at promoing than your opponent then you will come out on top.

There has been a few:
Tyson Armstrong push
Making GazzyD the leader of Genesis
Making Abe drop the Internet Title to Finlay
Sky Dynamite's Internet Title win in his first match (He quit the following week).
Me resigning the first time around
Agreeing to the Honeyz division (unbelievable)
There is probably a few more but I cant think right now.
