JJ - What's the most ridiculous/funny PM you've ever received?

I had one once where somebody wanted to be a rapping zombie Rolling Eyes

Its fair to say I have had alot of PMs over the years of people really moaning and whining about their results and positions on the card.

In 6CW,Mark Matzko once PM'd me and asked could he threaten someone with a nuke in a promo, which maybe the most absurd thing I have ever heard.

Which wrestler is hardest to write in the ring for?

Do you ever wish you had not become commish and stuck with just being JJ?

Do you prefer writing promos or matches?

Would you prefer praise for a promo, or praise for a match?

Which wrestler is hardest to write in the ring for?

Udo Berg,or generally anyone that is up near the 7 foot mark and weighs alot.It can be difficult to make situations believable.

Do you ever wish you had not become commish and stuck with just being JJ?

Sometimes, but without blowing my own trumpet,I don't know if 6CWF would be here today if I hadnt of taken up the reigns.

Do you prefer writing promos or matches?

Writing matches.I love match writing, especially when the participants have really been throwing out great promos because it makes you more determined to write a great match.

Would you prefer praise for a promo, or praise for a match?

Praise for a match,it's nice to get any praise at all but knowing that I have really made people happy by writing a match that they really enjoyed.

I always see promoing as only really benefitting myself,if I promo well I get good results....whereas if I write a good match then everyone benefits.

It doesnt mean I can't do it Lee,in fact I quite like challenge.

Just with everyone else on the roster averaging around 230 pounds and being around 6ft 2 it means I have to work hard to make your character look good whilst still making others look their best aswell.

What was the thinking behind Tyson Armstrong's huge push/undefeated streak etc... Were his opening promos that good or had you just got a storyline ready that you wanted to use?

I had it in my mind that I wanted to give this type of push to somebody and Tyson happened to be in the right place at the right time.He was definitely a good promoer (hard to say if he was going to be great) and so it wasn't hard to keep him looking good.

But the plan was for him to go on such a massive run,win the world title and be a dominant champion before somebody got a huge rub from going over him.

But alas,it never went down that way.

Rank the following Trash Talk phenomenoms in order, with 1 being the funniest and 4 being annoyingly unfunny.

A) PM for Bull
B) Secret Pakistan
C) Is that a euphemism
D) You're gay and have got 1 hour to deny it

I was going to turn heel before I left last year.
We have flirted with the idea of a Crime Lord turn but it never seemed possible.

But I can't think of anytime when something drastic went wrong just before someone was set to turn either way.

At first we thought that was exactly what the merger was going to be, unpractical. But I think it has worked brilliantly.

I don't know if Mat has ever come up with anything really wild,I wanted to host a tournament that would basically take up a whole month where everyone on both rosters would compete for "Ultimate Superstar" accolade but it would be extremely difficult to keep track of.

Merging titles is also something very difficult to make happen,we made a few plans to merge certain titles but we scrapped them because there would be then too many superstars and not enough titles.

I am just really looking for feedback really. You have been running feds successfully for a long time now. My first time as you know was 6CW, what are your thoughts of the 1 year I was there? With Atlas Rhodes, Mason, and Frasier what were your thoughts on where it was and where it ended up?

What do you look for when putting two guys in a storyline/fued? Is it based entirley on storylines/characters, or do you look which guys seem to get along on TT and so should 'click' when working together?

Are BD's Promo's what they always have been?

I think you have improved more and more as time as gone by.I think sometimes you lose focus and allow yourself to be drawn on where you think you should be instead of where you actually are.I would include you in my top 10 guys right now in 6CWF,so make the most of this position.

Why do I feel like I'm not as good as I once was?

I cant answer that question for you, thats your own personal feeling mate.

Who would you consider the most...
1.) Consistent

Cassius/Miss Jessica/Demon whatever. He never fails to bring his A game to the table and thats what makes him the best ever.

2.) Insane

I think Finlay is probably the most insane guys in terms of some storylines he wanted to use.As for actually insane, well it's a tossup between Bull and Matzko...no doubt about it.

3.) Under Rated

I always felt Max Adamson was so much better than he was given credit for.He definitely should have had a world title reign.

4.) Over Rated
Hero lol

No seriously,I would have to say that I never bought into GDC as a main eventer. He had maybe two months where we was very good but I don't feel he ever fully developed the character to the point where he deserved a world title.

You gave 6CW the stability it so desperately needed and from those foundations I have been able to build it up.6CW has always had potential but you really helped it to grow and I think you will always be remembered fondly for those reasons.

I think you have a fantastic brain for thinking up ideas and storylines, perhaps a little more long term planning would be suitable at times though so you don't find yourself in deep water too often without a clue of where to go.

I definitely would not be disappointed if I had to ever leave and you took up the reigns....because I believe you are good enough to keep control and take this place further.

Feuding two guys together is something that takes alot of thought, and I spend maybe a couple of days every month making sure everything is going to work properly.

Obviously storylines can play a massive part,if certain characters have a past together then it is always an option that we can explore.

I always wonder which guys can bring out the best in one another, and sometimes i'll look for one of the old guard to feud with a newer guy in order to help them advance their abilities.

Also if I know two guys are either friends outside of here,or they have a really good rapport on Trash Talk then I will look into either feuding them or combining them as a team.I think tag teams always work best when the two guys get on really well and therefore can trade ideas and PM's to really make the team tick.

Only just seen this thread so apologies for the gap between the last question and this

What were your first thoughts about a Lex face turn?

Which side do you think he is destined

6WF/6CW

Face or Heel

If Tyson hadn't had left would Lex have become World Champ?

Do you think a Lex/JJ feud would work?

Only just seen this Lex,apologies for the lateness:

What were your first thoughts about a Lex face turn?

I had my doubts. It took me awhile to think of how to pull it off,was difficult because the Lex Hart character screams heel in every which way.But amazingly I think you have pulled it off extremely well.

Which side do you think he is destined?

I can't say because I haven't made up my mind haha.Obviously Lex is always going to have heelish tendencies but I have been surprised by how well you have adapted to being a face.Could be a long running thing, but it's fun to play around with different aspects

As for which brand he is best suited on,well I would have to be biased and say 6CW.I definitely think his work with Miss Jessica was genius and would have liked to kick that up another notch personally but right now I am enjoying Lex's run in 6CW.

If Tyson hadn't had left would Lex have become World Champ?

Honestly,I don't know. That isn't a personal slight on you because you are a fantastic promoer and you know I am a massive fan.Tyson was scheduled for a long run with the championship so you certainly would have been in the mix but I am not sure when it would have happened.

I think if Tyson hadn't of left then the perfect story would of been for Lex to take the TAW belt off Cassius instead in a full blown feud involving Jessica which i think could of been huge

Do you think a Lex/JJ feud would work?

If Lex was on his king heel run like he was when he sided with Jessica then I think absolutely.I've feuded with alot of people but not ever clashed with a character like Lex before so I think that could be awesome.Could be something to explore in the future.
