Do you think a swap to 6CW would benefit The Saint then?

Well you have done it all in 6WF,but you've never come over to 6CW and conquered, would be interesting to see if you could make it happen.

Maybe even attempt to become the first ever double grand slam winner (6CW & 6WF) now that would be something to behold.

I have no idea what you mean Dicey,i've only ever been JJ Johnson.

No in all seriousness I tried a few out in 6CW and they never really came into fruition.

Antoine Mason was ok,but he basically just a heel version of JJ and not quite as good.

The less said about Atlas Rhodes and Joe Frasier the better Laugh

Now that i write segments for him in 6CW,I am quite envious of the Keith Leone character....I feel I could run with that character myself so hats off to him for finding his niche.

There have been some great characters over the years but I think we are only ever suited to one or two roles at the most so I don't think I could be anyone other that who I have been.

Vague thing from the past here but I seem to recall you used to talk about a crew coming (the 619? perhaps) - what was that story all about and who did you have planned for it?

What are your views on promo's that involve some sort of altercation? For instance, me attacking Marshall the day after Born In Fire? Do you prefer them run via the GM or just not see them at all?

So you think the Honeyz Division was a mistake?

Why?

Well what was good about it?.There was about six of us who basically had to make up another character and promo as women for no real benefit because River made Stacy (his own character who never even promoed) the first ever champion.

He never put thought into the division or tried to really get it going. But yet he kicked up a massive fuss when we all called for it to be scrapped.

First of all I was going to promo myself as a tag team, basically like I did with Soldiers of Fortune but then I went searching around Heel-Turns and pm'ing old guys to make a comeback.

Basically I had Worthy on the verge of coming back to help me but it never came off so we just scrapped the idea.

- When you first created the Soldiers of Fortune did you have the grand reveal planned all along, or did plans change for that?

- Were you tempted to continue promo'ing as Angelo Anniere? As I thought at the time he was the best character in the fed.

- Did anybody twig that you were playing the SoF, before the hints started to be dropped?

I think altercations can be good, you see them in WWE/TNA all the time and it works.

All we ask is you either run it past us or just past one another so that nobody gets angry about being "made to look weak" and it avoids arguments.

Post by JJJohnson Tue 6 Dec 2011 - 15:44

I was just wondering why you'd move me over to 6CW?

Because I think you are a fantastic promoer and would love to come up with some great storylines for you once the Church feud comes to a close.I think a heel Marshall could run right to the top by himself

Also:

- Given the amount of time you spent on the Gold Rush match is there anything you would change about it in hindsight, and did all the rave reviews about the event make up for the time spent on it?

The praise meant alot to me because it makes me feel like I did a good job on it but perhaps there where tweaks that could have been made.Perhaps certain stars could have gone further in the match but I don't regret the winners and I certainly don't regret having Hero last ten seconds Yahoo

- When you first created the Soldiers of Fortune did you have the grand reveal planned all along, or did plans change for that?

The Soldiers of Fortune were always going to be revealed as me down the line,I just didnt have time to full promo as JJ at the time so I went for a tag team setup instead.

- Were you tempted to continue promo'ing as Angelo Anniere? As I thought at the time he was the best character in the fed.

I appreciate you saying that but the time was drawing close for Angelo's mask to come off.I always wanted my Born in Fire main event with Hero and it wouldnt have been possible otherwise.

- Did anybody twig that you were playing the SoF, before the hints started to be dropped?

Before the hints were dropped there was nobody that knew (as far as I am aware). But Hero knew about six weeks before Born in Fire and then I think a few other people started to twig aswell.

If we are talking about right now then I would have to say Uryu in 6WF,he has come on leaps and bounds since his first stint here and I can see good things for him.

In 6CW,it is definitely Yarmouth Blade. He knows himself that when he first started out his promos were very average but now he is exceptionally good.

What's your favourite type of match to write?

The Elimination Chamber,I just love all the mayhem and carnage that you can create in a match like that (VIP Megashow Whistle )

This is a Q for Mat, based on the above;

JJ had his VIP Megashow "go nuts moment"
River had that bizarre Lockdown where people ended up in a canal "go nuts moment".
When do we get your "go nuts moment"?

What do you perceive to be 6WF's lowest moment?

The fallout that led to the formation of 6WE.I understand the reasons why it was done but I just don't think it was the right thing to do,but we can all say that in hindsight.

Has there ever been a time where you feared you could actually see the end coming?

The very same time.I feared that River's stubbornness wouldnt allow those guys back into 6WF and therefore we would struggle to keep going.Fortunately things panned out for the better and we are still here today.

If I knew he was going to promo all the time it would be Cobra, because he was quite sensational.

But I will go for Perfect Jack,I think his promos and brilliant and I would love to write a feud between him and Jackson Black.

When we feuded at Born in Fire 08 I think it turned personal.I personally felt I should be winning the feud (whether rightly or wrongly) and I always felt that Dave would complain to River any time I said anything nasty to him (which was wrong).

Dave got annoyed when I wrote in a promo that I was getting more cheers than him,he pm'ed River and I was told that the fans would be more in favour of Abe than me so I decided to play it that way.

From then on I held a petty grudge,in the first couple of months of Acer's reign as a commish and my own I am ashamed to say I made Abe pay for it (jobbing him to Ivan Petrov, losing to Finlay etc).

We exchanged a few words over PM'ing but eventually it blew over and I apologised for it all,of which I am still very embarrassed about to this day.

What was your favourite storyline/feud in the lead up to BiF?

I loved the Clarke James/Marshall feud because the promos were great and the story was so intense.

From a 6CW point of view I loved the Jackson Black/Mike Hill feud because it was a best of seven series going right down to the wire and they gave it their all.

I think everyone excelled at Born in Fire though and I was chuffed to be involved with Hero.

If you write a storyline between two characters from anypoint on 6WF/6CWs history, would who it be?

I would love to write a feud between Hero and TGA.I think their styles would have collided on so many levels and it would have been amazing.

And was there anything you would have liked to see booked differently in 6WF from that time?

I read the shows,I still wrote matches for shows and PPVs whilst I was away because I could never completely walk away from the situation.

And was there anything you would have liked to see booked differently in 6WF from that time?

Maybe the Association could have had better direction, primarily Solomon Riddick but these things happen.I can't say that there were many things that went wrong whilst I was away though, infact it was a very good time for this fed.

Do you know of any long-termer who hasn't?

I bet Leaky hasn't.

You kidding me - Crimey still hates me for my shoot on him!

Everyone hates you for shooting on them Laugh

you deserved it for hating on Mark Speight.

Is that why you have poisoned everyone from asking me questions on my Q&A?

I do believe they are/I think perhaps Dragon needs more work than Blade because I definitely see Blade as some I can push right up the card in the next 6 months.

All you have to do is keep working hard mate and make sure you develop both characters fully.

River had that bizarre Lockdown where people ended up in a canal "go nuts moment".
When do we get your "go nuts moment"?

Who knows? Maybe the Elimination Chamber match at War could be the go nuts moment depending on how I write it!
