I think Wales, despite losing their last three games go into this in good spirits.

Wales and Ireland were the only Nations competing in the Six Nations to beat a team ranked above them at the RWC, the team Wales beat was Ireland. We were beaten by France, who had beaten England nearly by as much as we had beaten England in our last encounter with them as well. We lost to the French narrowly, one point, in the semi finals of the RWC with 14 men on the field for over an hour...!

It's easier to beat sides above you in the rankings when you're so far down the rankings!

Losing three games on the trot is losing three games. You need to understand this and not get too excited.

Wales, lost to France (Arguably should have won) and a strong Australia side twice. I think there going to be just fine...

Agree that losing three games on the trot is not great but your first quote seems to be a load of boll***ks. This is a bit like saying its easier for Wales to beat Ireland because Wales are lower down the rankings than it is for England to beat Ireland because England are higher up the rankings.

At the end of the day Wales tried hard but failed against a poor French side and a relatively good Aus side.

If England had of done better than Wales they would have been in the final, we only made the semis. Unfortunately they were knocked out in the Quarters. No ifs no buts.

But they lost fewer games, surely that means they were more successful. Wales played 7 lost 3, England played 5 lost 1

NZ had an almost perfect Soccer world cup last time. Didn't lose a game. Not many countries can say that. It's just like winning it really.

France - (no GS)
Jeff - Saracens (although dependednt on how far they go in the HC - if not Tigers)
Rabo - not sure, Leinster maybe. Don't really follow it enough although I did watch the Dragons & Ospreys game the other day.
T14 - Clermont
HC - Leinster
S15 - Crusaders
4N - NZ (at first was going to say SA if PDV leaves but they have had a lot of high profile players retire).

Don't get access to the T14 here unless it is the end of season play off's so my pick here is based on what I've seen of the French clubs in Europe this season.

On the contrary, thats a rather naive theory. The more likely scenario is that a new look England, with little expectation heaped upon them, do very well in the 6N. Rather, your theory is wishful thinking. And rather sad thinking at that.

Yeah i agree, there will be a focused england squad preparing for this six Nations, my outside bet is Ireland.

Wales could easily finish 4th. Again.

England could easily get the wooden spoon.

I don't think Danny took much Care in that particular offence. But of course by pointing out the recent and seemingly endless stupidity of England players would make us very anti-English.

ANd frankly why bother, although Irish and Scots players seem able to behave like adults, us Welshists have our fair share of muppets though thankfully it seems Philipps has grown up (and stopped being chased down St Mary's street by a 606v2 poster) and even arch mupp Powell seems to be in hiatus. I still find it staggering that men who reach this level treat it with such disdain and seem so lacking in judgement but i don't think its restricted to English players despite their recent concerted attempts to discredit the English game

I think he was actually a returning banned user though and got fingered.
