Personally I think the Fletcher one should have been a negotiate as with the Krul one.
However, the reason for the difference is the Krul needed to get a 2/3 majority, whilst the Fletcher one needed to get two yes's or negotiates out of 2 votes. (as Nick won't vote on his own TP). It is actually harder for the runners to get a TP than it is the rest of us.
And switching TPs between managers is inviting more inconsistency. The same people doing them means that at least they remember previous TPs 95% of the time and treat all of them the same as best they can.
Here's a suggestion. How about rather than moaning about the 5% of the time that there is inconsistency, you appreciate the time and effort that goes in, and accept the 5% of the time that they are not perfect.
Alternatively, you could start paying them a salary, they could give up their real jobs to focus on getting it right all the time

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 15
Heres my take on TP's
Players that are deemed important for their clubs would take a huge bid to get them, ie Fletcher, Janko(me) etc.
Players from top clubs would never move unless they are deemed surplus to requirements.
I do feel the introduction of player exchanges would be useful, ie if I offered Bas Dost for Marc Janko.
Dost has proved himself in Holland and we will offer Dost + £ for Janko..if they are valued around the same then obvs your gonna have to add cash to make it worth while for them.
The likes of Cavani etc would he leave Napoli? Am not so sure and it would only be for a top club ie Man Utd, Chelsea etc - none of us
But the likes of Tevez, I would who are not playing would but would take a massive offer.
Player contracts, I think one year into there contract is too long to wait..maybe 6 months?
How many seasons will we finish before one year is up?
I do think the lads are doing a good job..its not easy I have done it and a few will slip through, others will be difficult to get..so maybe a couple of changes imo
I have got Kerzhakov in, after bidding for several strikers going Tevez to Janko ( who I thought would move) and am happy with him as my No.9

And to the offers for Farfan, no thanks. I am not interested in selling him as he is one of the best RW in the game, and certainly the fastest.

And for the record the prices in TPs have been set deliberately higher as the case with most of the players is that their club wouldn't want to sell them, and therefore a premium has to be paid.

Yeah most of us get that, hence my surprise at Krul being a negotiate at £8m when it's at least HALF his value.

My understanding is that Negotiates are when the club would be willing to sell, but the price is too low, AND the player would join, and a No is when either the club would not sell for any price, or the player would not consider the move.
I don't think any threshold has been set as to when a negotiate become a No because the offer is way too low. How do you know that the negotiate price was not set at the £15m that is being quoted in the media?

And since when did transfers in RL show any form of consistency?
Andy Carroll £35m, David Villa £34m
Jo £18m, Van Der Vaart £8m
Trying to be consistent when the very thing we base it upon is in no shape or form itself consistent is quite a difficult task!

And Russia does have a lot of really good players, like Kerzhakov, although I am not convinced Doumbia is one of them.

Walcott can go up to 190mph and won the trophy for being the most fastest and consistent back in 2008 and he has a fit girlfriend.

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 15
Overall, Doumbia is not a technical all round centre forward, but a wily goal poacher, who knows how to unsettle defenders with his pace, power, strength and movement, while also having the clinical skills to finish chances off. He's a real handful, and used correctly, could prove to be the key piece in the Ivory Coast jigsaw next month.

Wikipedia being down just irritates me. I'm all for them stopping this legislation or whatever nonsense it is, but if I want to know the goal record of a striker from Gambia I have nothing. Selfish.
