Be keen to see Seymour get gametime and see how he gets on.

Am almost looking forward more to seeing what sort of lineup the Saxons pick this week than the seniors.

Seymour should have been in over Saull in the first place, he's a more natural open side and has had a better season.

I wonder if May will slip in at FB this weekend

I didnt even know Scotland had a 'B' team considering they only have two pro teams it should be an easier game for the Saxons than the Wolfhound one! Wonder why Wales dont have a proper b team if the Scots can put one out.

there will be a lot of ginger haired jocks flying in to tackles with very low skill levels i imagine.

Hatred of the english should at least make them competitive for 50 minutes.

Saxons should look better this time out. its hard to turn up and play with all new players and look cohesive

Wales use there under 20's to trick players into qualifying for them. As it counts as there 2nd side without a b side.

Also there regions wouldn't have sides with a b side playing I don't think. certainly not competitive ones.

I never used to have a problem with them and i really like going to scotland fishing but they just absolutely hate the english in every capacity.

Going to Murrayfield is unbearable when you lose and great when you win as they all are so bitter. you dont get it at any other of the away games.

Also the stadium is a dreadful atmosphere unless they are in the game.

Remember going on a rugby tour to Scotland - I was amazed at how much they all hated the English! They refused to drink with us afterwards, especially as the game on the box was England's last victory in Scotland in around 2004 I think.

SCW had a good article in the Times about how he hated going and playing Scotland and was glad he only had to do it every other year.

Going to be a huge game, so much is going to be on Farrell's kicking ability - I just hope our midfield can get some attacking options. Have got a mate who is a massive Sarries fan and said how different the team plays when they dont have Farrell and Barritt next to each other - really expansive and attack minded.

I think Farrel has the ability to play a wide game but think it flounders at Barrit as he is not an attacking threat. Yet they rarely lose when barritt plays because he is great defensively.

Bit of a toss up of what you want really.

Just read that Nick - absolutely gutted about that, he was a big part of the club one of the leaders of the team. Can only imagine we will be getting a replacement hooker in, as I don;t think any of the others are going to take us forward. Be interesting to see what our Russian player is like, had a very good WC.

Farrell's a clever player, but I never know how much his game play is dictated by Saracens tactics of mainly kicking stuff and not really using their backline at all. I'm sure Barritt will be ok and solid for England but their is no attacking threat from the 12-13 channel at all for us. Wonder if Barritt will line up 12 in defence and 13 in attack for England like he does at Sarries.

I still think Strettle is going to start, due to the Andy Farrell coaching link.

Strong side. prefer Medard on the wing myself but wouldn't have him ahead of Clerc or Malzieu.

On his day Medard is electric but he makes Balshaw looks like Chris Latham when he has a bad day!

Fofana is a really late bloomer. i was keen to buy him but have a silly amount of centres.

That is a good french side. I like Debaty every time i see him and have not seen him struggle as pooly has eluded to. then again he thinks Barrit has a good kicking game laughing

I would not pick Medard anywhere he is so flakey,.

Pickles deserves to be 8 Hari not played in a while and making your first start back for a while in a 6n game is a no no.

Good bench and a French side that does not make you raise your eyebrows and say What the ......

Folks

As per a question raised by Mat on the domestics confirmation thread.

I am putting an immediate freeze on academy and national league signings. The rules around them have become blurred and I will re draft them in the close season.

If you have a foreign bid left, you have until midnight tonight to get it in. After then foreigns will also be closed, and the only transfers available will be domestics.

You do need to add them Mat. Nobody else is able to poach them, and if they are at Gloucester in the academy in real life then if you want to play them in this game, which I suspect is unlikely then you are free to do so.

What's the weather like for Sunday, as their pack isn't exactly on top form from what I've seen. I never get why they dont play Evans at 13, he'd change that backline!

Think its all about who wins the kicking game and whether we get our lineout sorted.

Think the snow and rain and general cold weather could be a big factor in the game. England must announce their team soon.

I'm never sure when we go up to Scotland, as the jocks always play harder, tougher against us than any other nation. If we can stay calm in the first 20minutes and grow into the game then we should be ok, but with so few caps going and playing in Scotland is going to be a fast learning curve for them.

We could really have done with Lawes in this - some big hits to silence the crowd - is Deacon injured? I'm sure I read he was out for most of the season and that's why Attwood is in with the EPS at the moment. Glad Palmer is there though.
