Six Nations Predictions...
...Based on the relative strike rates of each country in the HC:
1st Ireland (75%)
2nd Scotland (50%)
3rd France (33%)
4th Wales (33%)
5th England (14%)
6th Italy (0%)
Seems about right to me.

Re: Six Nations Predictions...
The Wales France is the only one that could go either way for me.
Would not surprise me if Wales lost the first one, went on a good run and lost the last game, but again finished 4th on points difference.

Oh yes so I am. Nothing new about Wales finshing 4th on points difference. It's happened nearly every year since 2005.

It does mean that Scotland will beat pretty much everyone else OR lose to Ireland and come out on top on points difference. That's fine I can believe that.

Re: Six Nations Predictions...
Well, if you base the 6ns on the HC.
It will be France/ Ireland or Ireland / France.
England
Wales
Scotland
Italy.
But then again the 6ns never works like that, Does it.

If you beat England away by the same margin as you beat Italy at home I will never watch rugby again!

Re: Six Nations Predictions...
It's not really based on HC positions, because as people always say, it don't really matter how your clubs/regions/provinces are going when the players who populate them have to put on a common shirt and dance to the tune of a different coach - but I still have this feeling that Ireland could pull off the sacred GS.
I had a bad feeling about the Welsh game at WC, before the game itself. Just sensed it wasn't going to happen. But I think this faltering link between Province and International is close to being ironed out
By now, after some seasons of dreadful play by players who are proven to be some of the very best in Europe, they must be coming to their conclusions about why it all doesn't gel at International. I hear they have had their discussions already about why it isn't working and what aspects need concentration. If the problem is being addressed seriously then the players are certainly there to effect new, more productive plans. Plus - many first team players now know for a fact that if they don't perform there is some real talent waiting in the wings. Ireland is seriously getting bogged down now in raw recruits so the incumbants have the 'Must try harder' sticker always on their butts from here on in.
Then again, some Welsh players are already in Poland I hear - so all best plans might fall onto the swords of the grim Icemen from Poland
