Expectations for the Rumble. Empty Expectations for the Rumble.

Post by bretmeharty Sun 29 Jan 2012, 1:34 pm

I've spent some time away from wrestling for the last few months with the exception of dipping into it on the odd occasion and keeping up with the news and storylines but not closely. Also never announced the fact I was taking a hiatus like the dramatic Brady.

But as it's Rumble/Wrestlemania season the spark is back, but that spark could fizzle out of burn even brighter depending on the happenings tonight. There are limitless scenarios they could go with :-

Jericho winning it to set up a possible meeting with Punk or they could have Jericho eliminated by a returning Undertaker.

Randy Orton in his home town would be the safe bet (I would be very disappointed if he or a safe option was applied)

My fave outcome would be if Barrett or Sheamus were to win, I'm a big fan of these guys (not because they are British) they draw me in on the mic with their witty comments/banter and mean business in the ring.
I would also be in favour of a unexpected guy to win it. Dolph after losing his title match or even swagger.
I'd hate if one of the old guard were to win it.

I hazzard a guess that this "anyone can enter the Rumble" thing will just mean a few more legends or ex WWE guys will enter.

What are your expectations? and what do you want to happen?

I would want Y2J to win the rumble as I think it would be more interesting for him to win it. I wouldn't mind to much if Orton won it but we have seen it before so. Shamus winning it could make him into a bigger star, so these are my 3 choices.
