Lansbury - got for pennies in releases
gervinho/Afellay not really rated
Walcott good to come on against tiring defenders
cant see me changing my midfield much now tbh
vey happy with my squad but could improve up front

Fan, you got a cracking deal. Marky F'ed up big IMO.
Lansbury wont be worth anything in this league, Afellay the same. gervinho half decent.
He is really, honestly one of the worst players I see starting week in week out for a club who have been a top one in recent years.
Theo Walcott is one of the reasons Arsenal are not where think they should be.
Arshivan is another so there is more. But Walcott is 100% one of them and maybe the biggest as he consistantly plays.

I would be looking for a striker, a covering CDM, and a under-21 player (or a mixture).

CF - this was my vote and comment. Hope it helps
Everton 2-0 Juventus
Gaitan 2
Everton were well set-up, and read the Juve managers mind by picking up Huntelaar who was dropping deeper. Huntelaar is a box player and Sissoko had no trouble dealing with him and limiting him to helpless shots from outside the aread. Juve also had both centre backs man marking 1 striker, which meant that Parker and Ballack were overloaded by the attacking midfield 3 of Everton

Why do you think it was ridiculous? 9 out of 10 thought Everton had the better team/tactics. Might you be wrong perhaps?

I thought your tactics were poor, not making good use of the players you had, not dealing with Everton defensively, nor doing anything to threaten them offensively. Everton on the other handm had good tactics to deal with your main players and good tactics to open you up. It was a no-brainer for me tbh

So if you had 3 key players injured, why are you complaining that you lost
Most teams would suffer with 3 key men injured. Unless you think you have a brilliant enough squad to deal with those men being injured?

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 17
Schalke v Valencia
Very well balanced sides, with good clear tactics. I can see them both creating enough to get one a piece.
Schalke more solid centrally. Valencia focused their tactics around pace and particularly the wingers beating the full backs, but Schalke FBs were a match for pace and nullified this tactic. Schalke kept possession and have good ball players, so this worked well against Valencia.
two improving teams, and despite Schalke having an extra man in midfield Valencias tactics spot on.
Both teams will be tricky to break down, and I can’t see too many chances being created. I like Valencia’s focus on wing play and getting the ball to the big men, and I can see them scoring first. Schalke have good quality though, and will eventually break the 2 banks of four down.
a defensively frail Valencia battle hard but eventually lose out to a class finish from the Croatian forward.
Decent tactics from both, felt Schalke though. both edged it in team sheet quality and formation.
Schalke wide men creat most of the threat and end uptaking a goal, but a strong paternership upfront for Valencia see them snatch a 1-1 draw.
Everton v Juventus
Everton’s tactics are well structured to deal with the Juve front two and wingers, while still creating chances for themselves. Can only see an Everton win.
Everton were well set-up, and read the Juve managers mind by picking up Huntelaar who was dropping deeper. Huntelaar is a box player and Sissoko had no trouble dealing with him and limiting him to helpless shots from outside the aread. Juve also had both centre backs man marking 1 striker, which meant that Parker and Ballack were overloaded by the attacking midfield 3 of Everton.
Juventus Solid display from Everton at home and just sneaked the win with a Rhodes pen near the end.
Everton are well balanced and the main threat of Juve seems to be dealt with fairly well. Everton can nick a goal and hold on, keeping Juve’s wide attacks at bay, and with Ballack unlikely to excel in a box to box role.
a dominating display by Everton expose a lacklustre juventus back 4.
Poor tactics from both IMO. Everton continue to just tell us who their players are rather than instruct them that much whilst Juve’s instructions to the fullbacks defensively amounted to ‘don’t let the wingers past you’.
The strong pair of evrton Cbs handle the STs in the air and long shots aint helping, thye cause some trouble by running at them but not enough to get a goal.Everton on teh other hand look very good especially at CAM and gaitan grabs two goals.
