Same formation.......should be a close one
I didn't really have much choice on formation as I don't have enough back ups in certain positions
Hope you liked my instruction to my striker
Yeah I did.....Samba will keep him quiet *fingers crossed*

McFadzean and Barnett are our two best players. Tubbs was just our finisher But their combined transfer fees were under £250k, an offer of £1.9M is staggering! If we had time to spend some of the money on replacements, i'd have taken it.
Tubbs, Barnett and McFadzean cost £300k in total, and we could have made close to £3M on them.

Don't know. To be honest, the £150k fee for a League 2 striker was plenty for Macclesfield to not want a sell on clause. No-one thought when he signed that he would attract so much interest!

He was our Player of the Year! (though tbf any player that manages to run 2 yards and not fall over would be in the running for it)

What a joke. So there going to let him captain England at the Euros then start the trial after which could result in him being guilty and prosicuted. The date of the trial has now been set for 9th July, after the end of Euro 2012 and before the start of the 2012/13 Premier League season.
It should be before the Euros so he can be stripped of the captanciy if need be and/or taken out of the squad.

Marky, shut your word hole with that rubbish (or typing fingers).
Im sorry but id rarther have the trial before the Euros so its known then. What happens if 7th July hes found guilty, England were captained in the Euros by a racist! What happens if we Win it (we wont) but just, Our Euro sucsess will tainted by the whole world looking at our winning nation captained by a racist.

Good question. Answer is Rodwell isn't a CDM of sorts, more of a box-to-box midfielder. The problem was he wasn't winning me games by scoring, or stopping the goals being created. My feelings are, when Rodwell was in the team, it didn't make a lot of difference to peoples decisions.
Therefore, I swapped him for Cardozo. A striker rated on here, and I can pair him up with Barrios - his Paraguay strike partner.
I need a CDM as an upgrade for Gabi. Although he does the job, I do realise that having a good CDM marking the opponents AM counts (or at least he does for me when I look at tactics).
The Rodwell deal means I get the goals now to kill games that I was lacking I think. I may be wrong, but from the reasons people have given, it seems I make chances, but don't put them away. Cardozo/Barrios partnership hopefully helps that now.
Anyway, that is my line of thinking........Hopefully people will understand my reasoning

You're right Twist. That's why I splashed out on Seydou Keita in TP's. I know I paid over the odds but he is a key part of my side as one of my two DM's.

Please can everyone ensure that their U21s are actually qualified as U21.
As with how it works IRL, it is U21 at the start of the competition. So as we started the league at the start of Jan, a player is classed as U21 if they are born on or after 1st January 1991

You think the black English players will want to play with Terry except Ashely Cole who is a shoe licker? If Ferdinand is fit would he want Terry to partner him at CB? If the F.A had morals they would suspend Terry as captain until the issue is resolved but we all know what people sit at the top, fat cats with suits who have no link to the real word. Racism is just a word to them as long as they get rich of it they don't care, nothing has changed the ones at the top are corrupt as always they've just made it legal to do it.
Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 17
Twist - Pazienza and Salifu. Both CDMs and both available cheapily.
Would be looking for somewhere halfway between their market value on TSFRMKT.COM and their release price (i.e. half the market value)

First dibs means nothing if you don't agree I can come with an offer.
An TSC where did you get that link from, if it wasn't the BBC I would have said it's urine take, I'm going to quote them
A brace by 19-year-old Michael Tonge against Liverpool on Wednesday, while 20-year-old Neil Mellor was scoring at the other end, added two more names to this term's astounding production line of promise.
Where are they now?
And future England manager Alan Shearer must be rubbing his sensible hands together in glee at the pot of gold maturing before his very eyes.
The same one that got Newcastle United relegated?
Chris Kirkland, 21 now, will be the world's finest goalkeeper by 2008, especially after another five years of shot-stopping practice at the back of Liverpool's attack-shy team.
Is he still in hospital?
Anton Ferdinand will form the bedrock of Shearer's defence.
Anton is more bothered about copying Rios heairstyles
Blackburn's Martin Taylor will be there to mop up when the siblings' rivalry causes them to lose concentration.
The only thing he'll be mopping is the blood of strikers from the grass.
Shaun Wright-Phillips will be devastating wing-backs, whose surging runs
SWP most awful player ever!!!
This is where England excel, with the maverick talents of Joe Cole and David Dunn backed by
The only talent Dunn has is eating Pies.
All three will be at their peak, and the onlooking David Beckham, who will probably retire from football at 30 to pursue a rock career, will smile in the stands as his successors shine.
Really?
England will have so much talent up front it will be embarrassing, and other teams may concede games before kick-off to avoid the humiliation on the pitch.
What like , Heskey, Zamora, Johnson, Nugent, Bothroyd?

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 17
I am starting my own "Support a crap UK team for a month" thread.
And no....don't add Ebbsfleet to this list.
Anyway, we were talking about this at work....rubbish teams in the UK that are listed on the BBC Sports Football website. The idea is simple...you pick a rubbish team, and for one month you follow their results and come back and report how they are doing.
My team is the mighty Montrose FC. 2nd from bottom in the Scottish 3rd Division. They are playing Annan Athletic on Saturday, and I will be keeping a close eye on their results. They don't want to drop points, as East Stirlingshire (who are bottom) picked up a draw last Saturday.
If you want to Google Maps Montrose FC, it is basically a field. It has 5 registered spaces for wheelchair users and one set of toilets. The VIP section is "standing nearest to the burger van".
Go on lads....pick a team and keep an eye on their results for a month.

I already do, it's called Macc Town. Lost 5 in a row in the league, every season we finish a max of 18th in League 2 and usually have to buy a completely new squad as anyone decent gets sold, anyone rubbish just gets released, we scrape about the non leagues for players and I cannot recall the last time we spent money on a player.
Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 17
I follow the mighty AFC Hornchurch of non-league. I was actually down at the ground not long ago, watching them beat Lowestoft Town 3-0.
The football is dire, but there is always a reasonable crowd and a burger to be had.
