Second Japenese Promotion Announce UK Shows

Michinoku pro have just announced that they will bringing there 20th anniversary tour to the uk on October 18th and 19th Night 1 will be held in bristol with the second night being held in Swindon.

I have been to one UK Wrestling show and it was pretty decent, i was quite young though. Anyone ever heard of Johnny Storm? That guy was awesome.

Tooze, What you know about Lucha Britannia?

Would it be fair to say it's perhaps a UK version of CHIKARA? I caught a little bit of that UK Wrestling show they have on Challenge TV and was blown away the quality of the match-up they had. Leon Britannico & Dark Bitannico are exceptional talents, they were involved in a 4-Way Title match, did anybody see it?

Slam Wrestling are having a show on Weston-super-Mare Grand Pier every Thursday at 2.30pm during the summer holidays.

Its a bit of a funny promotion really Enigma, its more of an AAA or CMLL promotion with the lucha style but they combine that with caberet style acts throughout.
The closest we have for a chikara type promotion at the moment is proberly attack pro wrestling, but there is a new one starting up soon called Kapow which seems will be even more like chikara

I'm looking to attend SWE Hell for Lycra X in Dundee on the 24th.

To be honest I wasn't overly impressed with SWE last time I saw them, certainly not at the level some of the central belt Scottish promotions are turning out.

But while I was browsing the card, one match caught my eye

'The Syndicate and Nikki Storm vs Grado, Mad Man Manson & Sammi Jayne'  

Despite all the great talents in Uk wrestling, I know if I can see Grado & Manson live, I will die a happy man.

Also see Williams vs Scurll on the advertising material but no official confirmation of the match, should be worth a watch at least

I saw mad man Manson and Grady in Ayr last month. Both very entertaining in a full blown comedy match.

I think Dar's great, to think he's that good at 20 is amazing, if I had one or two reservations about him, it would be his moveset relies too heavily on kicks and stomps, he's entertaining in the ring but I've got a feeling he's athletic enough to do so much more, maybe even throw in a suplex or two to break things up, also I think his crowd interaction can be a bit repetitive, obviously at his age and level of experience it's great that he's confident enough to interact with the crowd at all, but I watched a match between him and Ligero recently, and he was literally giving the crowd the finger once a minute.

Still these are relatively minor complaints, and a lot of them are down to my personal opinion rather than anything he's doing wrong, I think the futures bright for him, in Japan at least if he can't crack the USA, and I'm pleased he seems to be PCW's go to guy for the big US matches.

I love Grado, watched a thing with him and Colt Cabana today and it had me in stitches, the guys brilliant and his entrance is amazing, hope I can get tickets to see him in the flesh.

So indeed I did attend Hell for Lycra X tonight, brilliant show, even if it did go on a bit too long for my party who had all been up since 7am, Manson didn't make the card, I'm assuming an injury of some sort, still great to see Grado in the flesh

Highlight of the night was probably accidentally making a small boy chant 'go balls deep!', I'm assuming he had no idea what it meant
