Earls Out
Just been confirmed on twitter from Sinead Kissane and Michael Corcoran that Earls is out of the Game due to his newborn daughter being ill...
Our thoughts are with him and his family and hope that all ends well!
This is one of those times when we realise rugby is not quite as important as we all think!
McFadden at 13, D Kearney 22

Hope his newborn is ok.
This is a massive blow to Wales' chances though.

As a new father myself, my thoughts are with him and his family. Hopefully everything turns out ok.

Are Sinead Kissane and Michael Corcoran working for the IRFU now?

Poor Keith, thats rough. Family comes first. His head wouldnt have been right with that in his mind. Hope it all works out.
Re: Earls Out
I just read it was family issues. Has it been confirmed his child is ill? I feel much less confident without Earls in this game also, strangely.

That is a big shame poor guy.
Even if Wales win it will take some of the sparkle away as he was possibly their most potent attacking threat.

According to Corcoran that's the story... He's remained in Limerick to be with her.

They said she's expected to be out soon so hopefully it's not too serious.

The man's got his priorities right. Hopefully the bab will make a full recovery soon and Keef will be back with the squad soon.
All the best to the Earls family.

Re: Earls Out
I feel bad for earls and it's a blow cause Earls is the real deal I'm sure he would have done well.
I have every faith in McFadden though. Bet he scores by picking from base of ruck and burying over. Plus if Jonnys kicks go astray Ferg is an unbeliveable kicker.

Re: Earls Out
Shame for Earls because it was a good chance. But of course some things are much more important. Hope his child is ok.

Not going to get into this, I know your opinion on Earls. Even if it is clear you haven't seen him often and ignore his 5 tries during the RWC.

No. Couldn't afford it. My ticket went to rugbydreamer who's going with a few of the 606ers.

Now you bloody tell me! I don't mind watching at home. My pal's coming round and I'm cooking a Sunday roast before settling down to check out the beef on telly

In a way I am relieved I didn't make it. It will be perishing sat there watching the game. At least the players get to run around a bit to keep warm!

Its actually fairly mild and wet here. Sunday is to be 6-10 degrees with a south west breeze...tropical weather

Fair play family comes first. I hope the little sprog is going to be ok.
Its a boost for wales I guess, but an unwanted one in the circumstances.

Correct decision taken by Keith his place is with his partner Edel and baby Ella.

Re: Earls Out
Rodders they're on about "significant snowfall" on the weather...but looking at Ireland, there's a big blob of rain over most of it. So if people don't freeze, they get drenched. Nice.
