First topic message reminder :
Looking forward to the game, had no idea they had that much snow. Pitch doesn't look too good!
EDIT: Got to comment on Guscutt's scarf, it's soooo bad!!

Fair reflection of the game. Italy with twice as many points as England.

England just aren't getting any quick ball from Youngs, just like last week, it all looks so slow and premeditated they're having to force the game to get anywhere and right now they're getting nowhere.
England will go down today, I kind of expected it this morning.

Nathan - unfortunately the Six Nations does bring out the odd unsavoury poster. I just hope that England come out and respond to those two tries because then we'll have a good game on. On my Sportsguru picks, I've got England to win, so...

Italy 12 England 6 at half time.
Some more defending from England, and becausae England are trying to force the game.
Lets hope for a better 40 minutes in the second half.

spanking, 6 points really?
For Italy, at this stage in their development - yes. 2 x tries for Italy is showing they are changing their game and its great to watch. Long way to go yet Nathan. I still fancy England to react and win. Big test.
I agree that there is a bit of anti-English sheet on this thread. WHY? England have a new coach (good geezer) and a new, youngish team. Give them a break lads.

In a 'sudden death' style comp like 6N another team's loss is your own team's gain.
For Welsh fans, If England lose, then only Wales can win the Triple Crown/Grand Slam.
For Ireland fans, well maybe they won't finish fourth after all.....
By the same logic, will you support Ireland and Scotland in the next two matches?

Pleased for Italy but they're far from the finished article, in general there's too many forced passes and aimless kicking. If Italy can get their fair share of possession and play it tight there's no reason they can't sneak this.

I had it as a close game with England winning. Still can happen but that last 2 minutes will really bump Italy up.

What I hate about Sonia is even when were having a fantastic game of rugby, all she wants to do is bring up anything controversial or petty, instead of focusing on the positive aspects of the game. She seems to have no idea what she's looking at.

Italy showed some good signs last week against France. Castro is a huge loss for Italy so i imagine that England will target the scrums for penalty's

England are a new team, they're starting again and building for the next RWC...it'll come. This is only their second game with the new set up. I don't know what our reason will be if we lose to England...

We're often told by England fans on here that it is their business if they want to support the team that Wales is playing. And why should they support Wales? etc., etc. They have a point really as why would they support Wales when they're not Welsh??? Therefore the opposite is also true: why should anyone support England if they are not English? People will support who they like. Let them get on with it.

Some very over sensitive posts on this thread. Most fans support italy against anyone but their own team.
Im worried about playing Italy on their first 120mins in this tournament.

Why?
Does England losing to Italy somehow make that result void? You really do need to grow up

This "building" thing is nonsense. Select your best XV. England don't exactly have a shortage of players!!!

True but some of the reaction so far would have Italy beating us up all over the park and were really lucky to only be 6 points behind.

come on Italy :-) it will be a huge triumph for them to beat England - they are getting there to be competitive in the 6N and its only good for the sport.
england? ruck, fight for the ball, get some urgency into the game

An Italian win, an Irish win(yeah right) and a Scottish win, would bring this 6-N to boiling-point. Too many fans taking things for granted. There is not much between the lot of them. The French stand out. The rest? Anything can happen between them.
I love the 6-N.
