Basic skills lacking tbh, Irish look a class above. We're taking apart their scrum though.

I know youre having a discussion about Faz Jnr on the other Aviva page pooly, but am I one of the few to think that Faz is just England's Dan Biggar?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Think we all forget how young Farrell is, he has looked more assured and made less mistakes then many more talented youngsters we have had in the past at such an early stage of his career and in a pretty high pressure pivotal position. I think he will turn out to be a great player, maybe our Morne Steyn?
Attack will come, but if his is defence is rock solid, he kicks his goals and doesn't make mistakes, he is doing bloody well to start off with in my book. I'd have him over someone like Hape, Allen, Noon, Erinle, Tait, Flutey, all of which we have tried and seen very little results from recently

I like Farrell but he offers so little from centre it's untrue, a 10 if I've ever seen one.
I rate Barritt highly and he seems to have got this bosh merchant tag for some reason. I think he's a lot more than that and would be fantastic alongside Tuilagi.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
I don't argue the fact he has some amount of talent. I just can't see him offering much to England in the long run. It's just in the past and leading up to the Six Nations, Farrell has gathered the same amount of hype and praise, ala Biggar when he was being touted as the saviour for Walesm when Jones retired.
I would like to seem him play behind a dominant pack, with some decent runners outside him, as he can prove me wrong. But in my opinion he won't be much more than a bit part player in the future.
In another note, any opinions where I could improve my team;
1. Golding, Shiells
2. Paice, Vickers
3. Murray, Mercey
4. Hudson, Swinson
5. Muller, Casey
6. Lund, Nutley
7. Brussow, Welch
8. Guest, Gray
9. P Hodgson, Pasqualin
10. Clegg, J Hodgson, Manning
11. Stegmann, Fielden
12. May, Shingler
13. Waldlouck, Ansbro
14. Cuthbert
15. Tait, Catterick
Also Pull, what did you want to do about the Kennedy, Casey thing?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Your pack looks good Fluxy, but i'm not convinced by your backs. Hodgson has been out of form and Clegg is not getting regular rugby, which in such crucial positions weigh heavily in predictions.
You also need to look at getting a bit more depth. After your first choice XV you look very thin. Your back up centres are decent to be fair though.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Guys
In my tactics this week i had Tom Lindsey coming on to play 6 to make best use of his strengths (Carrying and deck work) and take pressure off him at the set piece. This allowed me to have solid lineout and scrum whilst gaining in the loose. Can i have some thoughts and opinions on this?

Nothing wrong with Lindays set piece imo, lineout has been solid of late. Not a 6 though
