Alright, will reply to enquiries now. Busy at work, as you'd expect.
Shladming - a nice little resort. The Austrians are mental, more stereotypically German than the Germans!

Bjorn Basson could well be involved.
Not sure Kirchner will get picked at 15, maybe Lambie?

Basson for Habana could happen...Juan Smith for Burger too depending how both progress from injuries.

Ah sounds nice. I went on a trip with my high school a few years back, can't remember where but all I remember are the people. Like you said they are stereotypical, and can drink... A lot, as I found to my own displeasure a few nights.
Would agree with your side Pooly, but would look to Lambie or Steyn at FB.

Anyone else seen that Wannenburg is now a free agent? Really surprised with that. I know they were talking about Kaino before, but then he got injured and now it seems he is going to Japan.
Why else release him, he has been great for them and I doubt that they are up to the cap, even with Bowe in the squad.

Re SA team, I think Lambie has to play, so if Steyn is at 10, I'd have him at 15. Not a huge Kirchner fan and don't see anyone else putting their hand up really. Why hasn't anyone got Botha in the team, is he injured again as I wasn't aware that he had retired. Matfield even said he would come out of retirement for the new coach.

Good player, isn't Wilson going back?
Be good in the prem
Botha can't have too long left. He's been pretty average by his standards in the T14, not sure if he's retired from Int tbh

Interesting, would certainly help the Sharks out and potentially the boks as well with a lambie / steyn 10 12 partnership

47 caps at 24!!! Jesus
Makes sense for the lad to get back to SA. Steyn/Fourie midfield was awsome for Boks in WC, add in Lambie/Steyn partnership with Sharks and they'll thrive.

Agreed, Lambie Steyn Fourie are 3 of my favourite players and as a combo, it has it all!
Just think how many caps JOC / North are going to get! Gregan's record in doubt?

Clark banned by Saints, looks like even they think he's getting a hefty ban and are trying to get at least some of it backdated.

And the two areas i thought i could improve on most were 2nd row and a more creative 12, but with Sammy T doing a job that isn't the most important areas i need to improve on.
Cheers for the feedback lads

Just watching Crusaders Cheetahs, two of the best running sides in the comp. Maitland and Guildford always a threat. Broussouw an absolute nuisance at the breakdown. Ellis looking great at 9 and Carter just come on at 12.
Cheetahs just scored the try of the season, 8/9 sets of hands length of the field effort, amazing to watch. Johan Goosen looks assured, as does their FB

Guys: my team for this week incase I can't get on!!
Gloucester
Manager – prop_lyd
16. Scott Lawson 17. Rupert Harden 18. Shaun Knight 19. Alex Brown 20. Akapusi Qera 21. Rory Lawson 22. EFS 23. Charlie Sharples
Tactics
We want no more than a big reaction after gaining a lbp from an in-form Wasps team away. This is probably our strongest squad possible and we are looking for a lot of confrontation up front and then using our centres to make the gaps and offload to an exciting back 3. With Lambie and Burns we have 2 players who can slot in at 10 and make the inspirational breaks (see Burns' try this weekend!!). We expect to win this match and none of our players are safe so need to impress.
Forwards
*Get the inital hit and look for the second shove on the scrums, the front row will look to turn them inside out and their main target will be to clear out the rucks for quick ball
*Dominate the lineouts with 4 jumpers starting and 2 more to come on, the 2nd rows will look to be physical and Whitelock'll look to link with the back row, Brown will come on to take apart a tired lineout.
*Backrow to carry strong throughout the game and to run off the back line giving them further options.
*Look for turnovers and use Qera's hard hitting and JVN's turnovers to do this and slow their ball, Narraway will provide the link to the back line and we will look at a 8-9-15 move off the base of the scrum.
*Use the bench with impact subs in all positions with Qera coming on on the hour to hit tired defence.
Backs
*Quick ball to Burns who will look to release Tindall and Trinder to get us over the gainline if the ball is slow we will pin them back off the park, he will have the freedom to use his initative with clever kicks.
*Centres to run straight and hard and to look to offload to back 3 or back row support, Trinder will look to target tired forwards with angles.
*Back 3 to go hunting for the ball and use their angled running to slice through the defence, high balls will be used to get space and give May the opportunity to run, Lambie will pick and choose his runs and, when with the ball in own half will sometimes look at up and unders.
*Hard blitz banana defence with a backrower on Burns' shoulder to look to get the first hit and turnover, Lawson/Lewis will act as a sweeper.
*Use the bench wisely with EFS adding the injection of pace and Sharples and running at a tired defence.

Just asked Beshocked if he fancied taking on the Sarries job. Reckon he would be good for it, knows his rugby, loves Sarries, on the boards a lot.
SJE - was really tempted to put Tiesi in there as well, but otherwise a pretty similar list. Would have had AAC 3rd if he played there regularly these days.

Good stuff, lets get him up to speed then!
Beshocked, if you can read this, you need to create your own Sarries team page. Use the 'quote' button on the old page and you can edit a bit if you fancy, but the squad must stay the same

Yeah he is Nick but a very classy player big fan of his. 4 nations might get him better ratings seeing him more internationally. Surprised to see Tuilagi so high! Great line runner but hasnt got the hands to be above the likes of BOD, AAC and Davies for me but its all about personal opinions.
The All blacks are well sorted at 13 Smith and Kahui top 10 and Freuen is just on the edges of it for me as well
