It is managers responsibility to not field an injured player.

I think the 10s come in 3 groups. Carter ahead on his own. 2nd group Sexton, Cooper, Evans. Not 1 is quite as good as Carter but there better then everyone else on offer at flyhalf at the moment 3rd group is ROG and Steyn and then the rest chasing
Carter

Sexton
Cooper
Evans

O'Gara
Steyn

Wilkinson
FTD
Priestland
James

True, but not many on form really. Flood looks poor, Priestland looks like second season syndrome, Cooper and Carter injured for so long, Steyn average for a long time.

That annoys me. I'm glad it has happened, but now it is another excuse for all the d*ckhe**s on the main forum to start talking about him again. Probably the most boring discussion topic in world rugby. That or the morons who are championing Cipriani for the SA summer tour!

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Yeah its a very hard position to rate currently. Priestland has always been a very inconsistent player at Scarlets and looks like being the same for Wales. Flood playing well for Tigers but doesnt always step up internationally. Steyn has looked decent since the tri nations to be fair to him though and was brilliant the other week for the Bulls.
Think Cooper has been found out a little bit. Wasnt anywhere near his best at the world cup or tri nations but hes still such an amazing threat. Oz have a serious head ache there with Cooper, Barnes and Joc battling it out for 2 positions I think

Oz have a serious headache....
Genia
Barnes
Iaone
JOC
AAC
Mitchell
Beale
that's one kind of headache I wouldn't mind having! Only concern would be that Cooper seems to bring the best out in Digby and Genia, so without him it might be an issue. But they still have Phipps and Turner/Morahan to slot in there as well

He's played ok in the AP, still well below his normal level. He'll come good though and reclaim the England shirt soon enough.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
I was there mate, just seems on a different page at the moment and has struggled with niggly injuries. It was his first game back in a month, but before that, he was looking really good. Has played really well at times, arguably the best passer in the league when at his best. Not easy to play behind that pack though, think most 10s would struggle to be honest.
Classic example of demostrating the differences in S15 and NH rugby I think. That's why I don't over rate S15 players too much, they need to do the attritional basics really well as well as being flashy.

Well it can't of happened by accident, more than 1 coach picked him pretty consistently! I'll keep the faith, plenty of players struggle in their first season in the prem.

Pooly, FYI I'm away from Wednesday this week til Wednesday next week. Hitting Vegas!
When I come back I'll either be on here a lot more as I'll have won loads and retired early or on here a lot less as I'll be doing a lot of overtime!

Top FH's
1 Carter
2 Evans
3 Barnes
4 Cooper
5 Steyn
6 Sexton
7 Trinh Duc
8 Priestland
9 Lambie
10 Cruden
I love Australian backs Bathite. I'd go Genia Cooper Ioane Barnes AAC JOC Beale cos I wouldn't want to drop any of them although I also love Drew Mitchell and think Rob Horne is a good little player.

Flutey's back off to NZ then, wonder if he'll get a Super contract, think it's more likely that he'll be playing NPC

He's a long way from Super rugby currently.
Little bitter tbh, comes over here for a few year. Earns a big wedge, plays for England the f's off back to NZ.

Don't have a problem with it to be honest, played for Irish and Wasps for a long time and always gave his all in an England shirt. Unlucky with injuries and now going home at 32 to prioritise him family. Can't really argue with that.
Doubt that he came over here initially with the intention of playing for England, but didn't let anyone down and didn't prevent any young English bloke getting his spot. Allen and JTH could have claimed it, but never kicked on

Need to raise your Smith bid too, a few good foreign signings and you'll be challenging at the top.

I don't have the money sgt pooly yet. Just need a little bit more then I will make another bid - hopefully before others can.
When does the payment come for predictions?
Is there anywhere where I can found out which top players aren't accounted for?

Best way is to check through teams mate, I never made a list of completed foreigns (I prob should have).
You can release players on the release page, players like Wyles would fetch 4m. You've got a fair size squad so you could possibly make 15-20m with a little cull.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
The difficulty is that I have a lot of underrated players in my squad. Wyles is one of them. Excellent cover too.
I need to get rid of Brock somehow. Can I cash him in for a nice payout?
How much could I get for Hougaard?

Guide is on release page for future ref.
4m for current Int (last 8 month)
2.5m ex Int
1.5 prem ex
It's all about getting that balance in your squad I guess. If you put a list of players available on here you'll probably get some offers.

Fit & on form:
1. Juan Smith
2. Dusatoir
3. Burger
------------------
4. Lydiate (although mainly destructive)
5. Faletau (good allrounder)
6. Elsom (fantastic if comes back to NH but really struggling for form)
I'd throw in Higginbottom, Alberts, SOB
