Annoyed at not winning that one. Never mind. Onto the next one.
Beginning to think that my plan to put a World Cup winning strike pair together isn't going to work so will listen to offers for Torres mainly. Villa if I get improvements elsewhere.

Can some explain how results are worked out cos drawing with Barca just seems wrong by the scores that have been predicted?

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Guys i think im going to leave this league, my activity has been poor recently for various reasons and i just feel AC Milan would be better off having a manager who can put more effort in.
I have been around these leagues for a long time but feel that my time is coming to an end. Hope it goes well may pop on occasionally for banter and stuff and to see how its going. Thanks Pull, been a pleasure guys.

Morning lads.
I'm keen on a deal to do some tweaking. We also need an AC Milan manager - I'll get in touch with the waiting list.

Is it just me or has Essien completely lost his form?
I know he has been out for a while but he is struggling to make any sort of impact.
Up for deals too

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
I think since Essien returned that Ramires has been far superior.
That's what flummexed me the other week when someone wrote the midfield of Essien and Lampard would boss Schweinsteiger and Vidal, I'd be highly surprised if that was the case!

Hero - Agree with that. Ramires has been brilliant both defensively and offensively.
Not seen much of Serie A this year as I didnt want to renew my ESPN contract.
Havent seen too much of Vidal to be honest too

Vidal has been quality since his move to Juve, the midfield of him and Marchisio has worked really well.

Impressive especially after 29 games.
Inter are eight
It looks ominous that the 'big' players will leave

Inter have had a weird season, started off shocking, then they went through a run where they were beating everyone, and then went off the boil completely again.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Which players would do you think deserves 'player of the season' so far?
Mine
1. Silva
2. RVP
3. Aguero
I think Valencia is hugely underated and has been unplayable at times for Utd

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Michael Owen revealed his PFA team of the year (not allowed to pick anyone at Utd)
(4-4-2): Joe Hart (Manchester City);
Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur), Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle United), Vincent Kompany (Manchester City), Leighton Baines (Everton),
Cheick Tioté (Newcastle United), Scott Parker (Tottenham Hotspur), David Silva (Manchester City), Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur);
Robin van Persie (Arsenal), Demba Ba (Newcastle United).
Think that's quite a fair shout.

Good shout.
Ekotto and Enrique have been better than Baines this year IMO
Even Ryan Taylor at LB has been pretty sound.

Enrique has been a bit hit and miss for me, the last goal v QPR was a complete howler of a mistake by him. Ekotto certainly has come on tenfold this season.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Don't just look at the last couple of games regarding Enrique.
He has been solid defensively throughout when he arrived.
Liverpool are dismal at the moment
Same with Ekotto, been very good this season but Spurs having a minor blip now

I usually don't say this but....'Come on Man Utd'
Hoping they win 6-0 with Rooney bagging 4, Valencia assisting all and scoring one and Evans too

Afternoon guys. Very busy at work so not had much time to get on and won't over the next few weeks probably although I'll check to see what's going on.
Got my first points of the season. City are struggling on here as well it seems. Hey Pull, your boys took a hell of a beating....

That's the one thing I hate about being in these kind of leagues is that you end up cheering on players you'd normally want to end up being stretchered off most of the time. I had Gerrard & Reina in another league and I'd feel dirty wanting them to have good games.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
I recently took over Liverpool on another league, I now have just Reina left from the usual starting 11 and as soon as I can I'm getting shut of him.
I even sold Suarez to lawyers so I didnt have to see his name appearing anymore for a couple of seasons

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
TSC - I got Suarez
Weird feeling that I want Arsenal to win but not want Van Persie to score and egging him to miss a pen or shot.
Top so far with the original 606 lot and Fisher in 2nd
My team currently...
Vorm
Evans
Enrique
Taylor (swansea)
Valencia
Bale
Silva
Ben Arfa
Rooney (c)
Suarez (v)
Aguero

I though Jol took it really well. Some managers, including SAF, would have been spitting feathers in his position.
Stonewall penalty. I have Murphy in my FF side as well.
Oh, and morning everyone.
