Yes, he scored a vg try against Lyon apparently.

Rob Hislop at loosehead is also someone we should be looking at - he's quality for a young lad.

if these guys ever get selected we could be looking at the next golden generation!

All we need is a better selector as coach and we'll be set!

Whatever ha happened to Borders rugby?

No Hawick, Kelso, Jedburgh etc. Is Ayr considered Borders?

That has got to be a great concern.

Portnoy, don't you worry yourself, Borders rugby is alive and well. The Club team is not intended to reflect the relative strengths of clubs, otherwise Melrose for example would be far better represented OK

aye if it was purely club strength, it would be Melrose, Currie and Gala. Ayr have struggled to hit their own high standards this season.

Any news on why Tommy Allan is playing fullback? Looked like he could be a great 12 from what little ive seen of him.

Also good to see Bennett back. Now if only we could get Alex Blair back playing. I saw him play at 13 once against Ireland and he was just like Bennett. scored a couple of tries if i recall.

Portnoy - I was brought up 8 miles from Ayr and I never considered myself one of those Ewok-like pie munchers.

Nice people, though. kiss
