Lomu and Campese for me.

Jason Robinson was a great winger but poor fullback. Devastating in a tight space, much like campese davies or williams.

see if you can find a winger that scored more than 30 tries in his first 35 tests.

Could do with more info here.... I assume S Williams is Shane and G Davies is Gerald.

Lomu - Simply one of the best players in all Rugby history. Leaving him off defies logic.

Campese - My other vote went to the evil Campese. Dislike the guy for the obnoxious snot he truly is, but I had no choice. Was close to picking Habana, but he is in a lull in his form at the moment (although i am sure they all did as well).

There are a lot of very good wingers on that list. And there is nothing wrong with being very good, but to me, clearly just a couple of choices.

For me one choice was easy - Gerald the other not so as there are lots of class wingers on there I have loved watched but plumped for Dougie Howlett.

Lomu is a shoe in, and for me there are a few to consider, Campese and Kirwan push Shane and Billy whizz. But you know what, one of my favourite players to watch, maybe not the most talented, but definately one of the most ruthless...

Well i guess you have to have Lomu in there...and the other one...well ill say Jason Robinson for his sheer mesmerising ability...

But i think its difficult to pick a best two as there were some absolutely sensational wingers. Tomorrow i could choose two totally different ones...

Wilson and Campese though he was and is a d*ck

Players like Wilson, Kirwan & Howlett should have more votes than they do.

I agree with nganboy, Campese & Wilson.

Campese has to be one, for all that he's not perhaps the nicest chap, he was a simply phenomenal player.

Lomu was my other choice. Never again will we see such an impact made on world rugby by one man. He was so much more than the monstrous force people remember him for, too. Far more skillful than people give him credit for.

Players like Cohen, Sivivatu, Ashton, Mitchell etc should not be on the list. All excellent players, some still developing, but shouldnt be anywhere near the list of all-time greats. If you're going to include them, then where's the mention of Patrice Lagisquet, JJ Williams, Dave Duckham? Or the more modern talents of players like Christophe Dominici or Chester Williams?

I am amazed, especially at how low Kirwan is. For me, he is one of the greatest wingers of all time.

Lomu was very very good but for a limited time (partly due to illness) so i cant see how people see him as being the best.

For example, John Kirwan, Joe Rokocoko, Doug Howlett, Jeff Wilson (NZ), Ken Jones, Dewi Bebb, Gerald Davies, JJ Williams, Ieuan Evans (Wales), John Bentley, Peter Jackson, David Duckham, Rory Underwood (England), Rupeni CauCau, William Ryder (Fiji), James Small, Bryan Habana (South Africa), Arthur Smith (Scotland), Takudzwa Ngwenya (USA), Daisuke Ohata (Japan), Lote Tuqiri (Australia), Thomas Castagneide (France), Tony O'Reilly, Simon Geoghegan (Ireland).

For me it has to be Campo and Lomu.

Lomu's stats are amazing - still the youngest ever All Black test player (19 years, 45 days), still the holder of the most tries scored in a World Cup, RWC 95 Player of the Tournament, International Hall of Famer and a Commonwealth Games gold medallist (for 7's).

I can't believe Ohata hasn't got any votes.

Hersh - funny enough I just voted him. The poor sod gets shafted just because he is Japanese. To be the top try scorer in the world, but for the majority of part time fans not to even know who you are is a disgrace.

I also voted Cohen and Lomu as my choices. Lomu is an obvious chice (because North wasn't on the list), but I am not too sure what it is about Cohen, I just liked to watch him play.

Well I chose Lomu and Caucau. When those 2 guys were at their absolute peak, (which admittedly was only for a couple of years in the case of Caucau) they would score tries that no one would believe possible. Mentions in dispatches for Kirwan, Williams and Robinson. Really think David Duckham should have been an option.

And some honourable mentions from memory lane, not on the list - Peter Squires, Elgin Rees, Mike Slemen, John Carlton, Simon Geoghan, Patrick Esteve, Brian Williams, JJ williiams
