Munster boosted by Wallace return
Can't see any other article on this so I thought I would post one.
http://www.independent.ie/sport/rugby/munster-boosted-by-wallace-return-3041676.html
'AFTER losing Paul O'Connell and Conor Murray to injuries, Munster have been boosted by potential return of David Wallace this weekend.
The flanker has been out of action since injuring his knee in Ireland's final World Cup warm-up match against England last August, but Munster manager Shaun Payne says they are hoping to play the two-time Heineken Cup winner in Sunday's Pro12 clash away to Aironi.
"He is doing very well at the minute and we are considering him for this weekend," said Payne yesterday. "He has been back with us for a few weeks and has been in full training this week."
Meanwhile, Munster supremo Tony McGahan's appointment as Australian defensive coach has been confirmed by the Australian Rugby Union, but it will not be announced until the complete management team is finalised.'

Even if not fit for this weekend great to see he will be in contention for the Heineken Cup.

Great news! One of my favourite players. Perhaps the break will give him another season. He is knocking on though.
As we have to play Munster between 1 and 3 times in the next 3 months..... can he have a rare off day......just against us

Great news for Munster and Ireland! Wallace is world class. Not so good from an Ulster pov if he is back to speed by then!

Seriously, I'm really pleased for Wally. I was gutted for him when he missed out on the RWC cause of a friendly.

Such good news. Amazing player.
Even though it means we might have to face him in the HEC Quarter Final it's still great news that he's coming back. Have to say I really worried his playing days were up.

Great news, another who was concerned it could have been it for him. Glad he has made it back and Munster will be a harder proposition to beat with him in the team. A player who seems to have a huge amount of respect in the rugby community based on the standard of his play and also how he conducts himself on the pitch.
Cari - What is it about you and Irishmen eh?

Great to see him back......... a favourite of mine. Lord, how we missed him/miss him in the Irish camp. I hope he gets back in for another stint, however brief it might be with age ticking.

Awh come on Fly - Simon Shaw played til he was 37...actually isn't he still going? That gives Wally another few years...and how old was The Bull when he retired...75?

Well Cari... I'm trapped between a rock and a hard place. You see I'm known publically to be for a lot of changes in the Irish side...I mean to say, I'm a champion of trying out younger guys at the expense of probably a few of the older crew.............
..........and yet, I say O'Driscoll should go on until he's 55 and I'd like to see Wallace go on until around that age too. But when I say that loudly, I can be accused of hypocrisy So I mumble about O'Driscoll and Wallace and hope nobody hears me.
Basically, I'm two faced

Well as long as it's not your best face ou're sat on...
I think BOD should go on until...what am I saying...him and ROG will still be playing when they get free bus passes (do you have them in Eire...? )

You and Irish men? Well, only you can answer that one, Cari - but you've already given your subliminal clue. You said they last longer.............................. Don't tell billy on me though, he says I have a dirty tongue.
About the bus passes - funny you should mention them. Yep, free travel was available here - Was. I think it's about to be phased out now with the economic prawblems. NOT that I'm at an age to worry about such things!

Ah well if you put the Irishman thing like that....see, there's a bit of a problem.....Yeah they can go for longer, but they don't do so well with the Welsh....except Tommy of course
They won't get rid of the bus passes here. They should, well no, they should introduce them to professionals who rely on the bus to get to work...

Monaghan is in Ulster...it's just that it's also in the Republic which confuses things for people across the water because they think Ulster is Northern Ireland.

Ah gotta love that Friday feeling, giddy to say the least, what with people talking about our large...... c@cks and wanting humerous banter in relation to the Border situation! It feels like this could be a fun weekend!
As for Wally. The an is a legend, great to have him back and while he isn't tomorrow's man, he could well still be today's! We shall see!
