Tigers sell 10.000th Season Ticket for 2012/13

This is the earliest that they have ever hit the 10k season ticket mark. Plenty of people taking advantage of price freeze and interest free direct debit schemes.

Leicester must sell more season tickets than all 4 of the Welsh superclubs/reegions combined.

There's a big emphasis on selling season tickets. There was a big offer for those that bought 3 year ones when the CAT stand opened. Season ticket holders get goody packs ahead of the new season and first dibs on away tickets etc. There was an article in the local paper a few years ago before the CAT stand and the jump in capacity where a couple had signed their unborn child up to the waiting list as they figured by the time it was old enough to attend it would have got to the front of the queue.
With increased capacity it's easier to get season tickets and I think they are cheaper than the football option. A good sign as with the RWC and almost every Tigers game televised the attendance figures are slightly down this year.

It is costing us £840 (£70 a month) for 4 season tickets in decent seats in Goldsmiths Stand (I like being behind the posts as you get a better appreciation of teh space available and some of the god-awful running lines AP back divisions in the AP have been taking).
Not cheap - but much cheaper than football.

Well LT if you consider that there's about 8 months in a season that's £105 a month, between 4 of you £26.25 each. Say 2 home games a month that's just over £13 a game. Not bad as seated tickets are about £20 (?) normally.

Wher we are usually £28.
We got a BOGSHP offer which helped. I am not quibbling. For £210 I get 11 AP matches, 3 HC (probably), 2 LV. If (a big If though) we get a home 1/4 in HC that is also included.
Petrol and food will be a much bigger expenditure - and will probably stop us attending any LeagueA or Academy fixtures (unless the coincide with the 1 monday a month when i will be visiting a client in Leicester)
