Wales on the Brink
Good morning rugby fans,
I'm not sure if there is a thread for this already, so apologies if there is.
Just wanted to start a place for the concentration of positive feeling for the impending Welsh grand slam attempt.
I think the rugby world is united in admiration of what seems to be a genuine return of the sleeping Welsh dragon.
No disrespect to France, but a GIANT GOOD LUCK to Wales from me. May the ball's flight be true, and may you be unhindered by an awkward bounce.
So, keep composed and visualise the glory of such an acheivement, clinched in revenge victory over world cup finalists in front of a home crowd, who turned out in droves to an empty stadium to cheer on a team on the other side of the world. More deserving fans I simply can't imagine.
(Oh - might also want to have your drinking shoes on).

Re: Wales on the Brink
Well we didnt get revenge on the Aussies at home and I think the French will be in fine fettle if they pick their best team for the final match.
No one in Wales is expecting a win, just praying...!
Which reminds me its time to head to chapel and re-aquaint myself with God...!!!
I advise all fellow Welshman to pop in and say a few prayers and chuck a token donation in the funds...
Hopefully the roof will be open so he can watch too. The closed roof is probably the reason we lost to the Aussies...

Well, rumour has it God is a fan of South African rugby, so you might want to try elsewhere.

I guess it's selling our soul to the devil then!
But then that could mean the return of Will James and Gareth Cooper
