brink?
has anyone played this game, i am looking at getting it from tesco for £23, but i have heard some poor things about the single player.
has anyone played it, would you recommend it

Not played it myself (got it listed on lovefilm to rent) but have heard the same as you. All the reviews I've heard seem to indicate that the single player is really poor but the multiplayer is the best part of it. The main issue with the single player appears to be the AI bots not having a clue what is going on around them and proving to be more of a hindrance than a help.

£18.99 second hand, thought it was worth a risk, it cannot be any worse than Duke Nukem anyway and i got £30 trade in for it.
