As hard as it is to pick my biggest issue with that list, I think it is the only Indiana Jones movie being on there is the Temple of Doom. The worst of the original three, still a very good film, by my estimation.

What a awful list, though not unsurprising when compiled by Nuts.

I think it needs to be viewed as a 'Best Bloke Film' list more than any definitive attempt to classify the greatest films.

If I viewed it as "Bloke" film list then I'd still fell the same way as I'm a bloke and this list is still terrible.

How can The Hangover be higher than Goodfellas, Back To The Future, Rocky and Scarface? How can Jaws only be 33??

I know its only Nuts magazine so can't really be taken seriously but come on!!

Excuse me while I go and sit in the corner and weep.....

Most of the people that read Nuts would probably nod and agree with that list, I think.

As voted for by below average intelligence 'readers' who've probably never even seen a B/W film, or for that matter any film made before the 70s, The Great Escape excluded and I'd bet a lot of money that 95+% of responders have NEVER watched a single foreign language film either, dubbed BS excluded.
If lists like these ever start getting real recognition, god help the world.

What killed the Dark Knight was the voice Christian Bale was putting on. Just awful.

Ledger was epic, but for me Eckhart was immense.

Some things aren't really clear enough, which Star Wars film, which Godfather film, which Lord of the Rings film etc. No idea how the Dark Knight can be the best film ever.

OH, I'm pretty sure most NUTS readers will have watched a few foreign language films - the sort where the wardrobe department isn't exactly important if you get my drift...

Even as a list of 'lads' fims, I don't rate it, never mind as a serious list of the best films ever (which obviously include It's a Wonderful Life, 12 Angry Men, Casablanca etc). I haven't checked, but I wonder how many of this top 50 actually make it into IMDB's much more credible top 100 rated list.

Just to further my comment, and with passing reference to IMDB's top 250 list (to remind me of what's been missed).

Where the **** is Blade Runner in the Nuts list?

Also missing, that should be on any self-resepecting list of bloke films:
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Unforgiven
One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
Silence of the Lambs
The Usual Suspects.

I could go on, but clearly any film list that rates Die Hard above either of The Godfather 1 or 2 shouldn't merit much time considering its deficiencies.
