SPOILER ALERTS - COMMENTARY/RESULTS - Molina vs Kirkland/Morales vs Garcia
First topic message reminder :
Hey ladies and gents,
Dont know if anyone is still up, but im watching the bill i have put in the title.
Just wondering on peoples thoughts on whats happened so far?
Its round 4 of Molina vs Kirkland and Molina is an absolute stinker.
Constantly grabbing Kirkland EVERY 2 seconds. Throws a punch, misses, then grabs.
Messy work here.[b]

Ali too was chinny because he was decked a couple of times.
Ali wasn't getting wobbled by LHWs.

No just Henry Cooper but i'm well aware of where you're trying to make this lead.

As Ghosty says - Cotto is a double world title challenger - and apart from Malignaggi and Canelo has been unbeaten above 135 where he has fought since 2007.
Manny can certainly still make 140 - and can probably make 135 - so why is he a fully fledged welter? Just because he's got a bigger team?
Keep digging - you haven't reached bedrock yet.
Next point to weasel your way out of is the one that if Manny can still make 140 why is he a fully fledged welter - seeming as that's the reason that Jose Cotto is "apparently" just a fat LW.

I think the point azania is trying to make is that while Cotto was fighting at welterweight, he could have made lightweight but chose not to. Thats different from not being capable of making lightweight.
I doubt by the time he fought Alvarez he could make 135 without draining himself badly, but he looked fleshy enough to make one think 140 would not have been beyond him.

It was a silly and pointless point you were trying to make then.

If Maidana is chinny then so must Ali be, you must be able to connect these things together or is so much of what you say rubbish that even you instantly forget it?

He was still a fat LW regardless of who he fought. He came in a stone above his best weight.
Manny could probably make LW. He'd employ the best dieticians and conditioners around to ensure he retained his speed and power. I doubt Cotto did the same whilst training for Saul. If he did, I'd be surprised he didn't ask for his money back. He came in fat.
Have your shovel back mate.

I know Manos - but when Manny is weighing in at 144 - and can clearly still make 140 - yet is described as a "fully fledged welterweight" - yet when Cotto, also weighing consistently above 140 and weighing north of 140 for longer than Manny has been above 140 - is described as a "blown up fat lightweight" -
I think we are allowed to question the motives of the author - and whether they are simply throwing out random comments and then defending them blindly even when proven to be inaccurate.
Like keeping Wonjongkam in the p4p top 5 a fortnight after his famous KO by a journeyman.

Maidana has never looked like being stopped nor has Ali but they have both been dropped numerous times but I can guarantee where you're going with this.

Az - we're just asking for consistency. Either drop Manny=fully fledged or drop fat lightweight.
We don't really care all that much - but we want consistency from you as it suggests that you're not just spouting random facts.

I have never come across anyone as argumentative as you. Sheesh. Seriously. Lighten up. You know I'm correct, but your love of arguing makes you carry on. Thankfully I'm mild mannered and always chilled.
Does Manny look fat or more politely fleshy?

I'm always consistent. Cripes. Did Cotto look as though he was carrying some excess luggage?
