Wasps v Glaws
The teams are up for Sunday’s game between Wasps and Glaws and both sides will be desperate to avoid an April Fool’s of a game (dreadful I know!). You do have to feel for Wasps who are ravaged with injuries, but in the long run this could yield dividends. The backrow is very young and extremely promising. However, Glaws will be hurting after last week where they failed to compete except for 10 electric minutes. We need to get HC qualification so are desperate to win this game. We got the away win at Wasps last year in driving rain, but this Sunday should be a lot drier, but I expect the result to be the same, although I doubt it will be similar to the Boxing Day mauling.

Yeahh, Henry's back! Saw him at Nando's last night with Jonny and Charlie. Looked fit enough.

They really should be sponsored by Nando's, but at least we know who to blame if they end up getting food poisoning!

Well the Tigers players are exactly the same HKC, the long term injured (Crane, Newby, Brookes) picked up the nickname the 'Nandos Crew' because they were always on Twitter eating in there. Clearly that particular chain must operate some sort of rugby player discount.

Wasps pack may have the edge here with Glaws carrying a lot of injuries (eh join the club!) but no question who has the better line.
Looking for a favour from Sale tonight against the Falcons and to sneak a win on Sunday.
Well I can hope cant I?

That's not strictly true. The only 2 starters we're missing are Wood and Strokosch. Savage is in on form ahead of Brown. I would have prefered Dawiduik to start, but I'm very pleased Buxton is back at 6. Narraway needs to put in a big performance as he was anonymous against the Chiefs.
We've got a strong bench. Thomas is a promising LH, and Dawiduik and Knight are very close to being first teamers. The experience of Brown and strokosch is going to be a great asset. In the backline it's great to have our U20 starlets Robson and Mills feature.

Re: Wasps v Glaws
The Quins players love Nandos too, maybe the chain have just been cunning enough to put restaurants close to the clubs? I wonder if footballers eat in Nandos too...
Strong Glos side, can't see Wasps winning it but they could cause a lot of damage with thier massive 6 & 8 in Launchberry and Vunipola (two more possibles for the SA tour).
Good to see Trinder back and playing against Daily, two exciting prospects and Trinder will be wanting to get back on form before the summer.

No way is it cheap, I paid a tenner for half a chicken that wasn't even that big. Nice atmosphere though.

Cox was only in due to injuries himself (decent promising player) and whilst Brown is a lineout maestro, Savage has been the better player around the park in recent months. James is still injured as far as I'm aware, but again Savage would be ahead of him at present.

I hope the NHS discount isn't because there is an expectation that you may use their facilities post meal!

No wonder our players are "injured" all the time. Nando's is clearly responsible for Sinbad's injured woes over the years.

No it's not. Radio it is.
Even a losing bonus point would be massive for Wasps. A win would ease a lot of nerves.

If Wasps lose this then I can see Falcons going up a gear and sneaking past them. Must win for Wasps. Falcons know exactly what to do in this king of situation, do Wasps?

Don't understand why only one Jeff match is scheduled for today and it isn't live on tv. Should have played it yesterday.

Weather does seem nicer today. Can not wait for the days when every match is on tv (and ESPN do all the coverage).

Sounds like Burns is kicking too much like last week. Put it through the hands in this weather, the one time you did it was a try!

Wasps look like they are giving it a go and good on em! Love to see written off teams upsetting the favs. Never rated Redpath and have wondered how he's hung on to the job sometimes.

Well this game sums up Glaws, scintilating tries and woeful indiscipline & game management.
Well done Wasps, it is one foot towards being safe.

Cheers HKC - I think we did have the edge up front but that wasn't the deciding factor & agree with your comments re game management.
Redpath is as frustrated as the Glaws supporters. One more step towards survival but it ain't over by a long way.
