Turning into a pretty good win for the boys! Not many teams have put 40 past Treviso this season. Quite happy with this!

FT 41 - 10. Great win lads.
Now I'm off to concentrate on the Irish derby - it's a great game by the looks.

Re: Ospreys Vs Treviso
Cari, I think Gav is still a really good player. Blues haven't managed their team well though which limited his chances. He has been behind Parks and Sweeney all season FFS. I'm sure Ospreys and Dragons would be willing to take him, or an English Premiership team.

Ospreys in try bonus point win shocker! Just got back and what a excelent win. Been waiting for that all season. Dan Big, RyanJ, Dirksen and Beck (again) all had stormers. Tandy & co have def got something going on with this team. Well done lads!
Btw..We all went nuts when we finally got our first tbp, my 5 yr old cacked himself and burst into tears. Poor lad..

I'm no fan of Biggar but he has played very well most of the season and the last two weeks he has really stood out, possible inclusion back in the Welsh camp on the cards?

Agree (omg!) He's improved alot recently. Coincides with Johnson, Holley leaving. Thats wierd? He seems more relaxed on the ball and not to pressured into kicking the ball away all the time, making more breaks/running with it.

Re: Ospreys Vs Treviso
indeed OMG!
His tackling and ripping the ball away has looked more like a class player rather than a kicking machine.

Cheers Cari!
Biggar indeed had a good game. Stood a little deeper and came onto the ball as well. V nice to see.
Maybe a home play-off isn't so unbelievable after all.

Get used to it, as you'll get another in 3 weeks v the Dragons if we play like we did last night. I'll be there though. Looking forward to it.
Good to hear of a few of the Welsh guys playing well too. Well done Ospreys

Re: Ospreys Vs Treviso
For me it is the best I have seen Biggar play all season or even longer, but his first instint is to kick and I felt he did not control the game in the second quarter of the second half allowing Treviso to dominate the game in this period. I don't know what is going on with Bishop, he is hardly in the game but the rest of the team had a good game.

Re: Ospreys Vs Treviso
Okay yeah, I'll admit Biggar played well. He is still kicking away too much posession though. Maybe he thinks POC or Matfield is playing at 2nd row for the Ospreys. IMO, you need to play more conservative and let the forwards do everything because the best backs aren't being picked and they often make the wrong calls. Time to limit their posession. Beck is a brilliant player but surrounded by mediocre backs. Let the pack bust up your remaining opponents and desperately needed tries shall come.

Re: Ospreys Vs Treviso
Risca:
I hope the dragons play Tovey as he usually out plays Biggar home or away, I suspect the Ospreys may put out a strong pack to prevent the Dragons getting much ball. I suspect the Dragons game will be much closer than this game today (I hope).

Actually he has been simply awful all season, it's only the last 2 weeks he has hit any kind of form.
Great win by the boys though, though I was so angry I was ready to kill someone during the game. Firstly I contacted the Ospreys club shop during the week to get our free tickets printed out, which I was assured was done and waiting for us, when I finally got there I was speaking to some young girl in the office with long dark hair who has about as much intelligence as a cabbage, she told me they weren't printed and she couldn't find them. Which irritated me to say the least.
All during the Glasgow game I had an annoying kid kicking me, he had sat behind my brother in law most of the season and kicked him, but now he has moved behind me and I had to turn round and give him a row last time, but this week he did the same thing again all game in the first half. His dad who sat next to him didn't seem to care, the kid then sprayed us with a bottle of Sprite, evetually I was close to snapping and moved one row forward but spent half the second half glaring behind me at the Dad, who seemed to get more panicky and eventually left the ground, with the son, the mum and other kids went a few minutes later and a safety announcement went up a few minutes from the end with stewards all around our area, staring at me and my 2 brother in laws.
I think that guy made the right choice he'll never know how close I was to ripping his throat out. It's a pity really you go there to see a game and be entertained. and it's spolied by a poor parent can't control their kids and let them kick and hit people and then throw pop over them.

Re: Ospreys Vs Treviso
Alyn - I had a similar situation at the MS for the RWC semi. Me and my friend were sat in the seats on the second tier and behind us was a woman with three kids. The kids had flags and kept waving them and hitting me in the head/face in the process blocking my view not to mention annoying me. I had to keep looking in the same direction as well to watch the big screen. This went on for ages, and I couldn't tell off someone else's kids could I? Thankfully though, Mike Phillips scored, everyone jumps up to celebrate and one of the kids with the flag goes flying and starts crying so his mother had to take him away. Karma. I do wish that people would control their kids a little bit. They wouldn't let them do it in a cinema or theatre would they?

Funnily enough it's normally a woman and 3 kids who are behind us and sometimes the father. We obviously wouldn't say anything with the mother present as 3 big blokes in their 30's picking on 3 kids and a woman would be awful, but a dad is a different matter. He should of stopped it. Still if it happens against the Dragons and it kicks off at least I won't lose anything off my season ticket, because that's the last home game!
