Stephen ferris's integrity
First topic message reminder :
Ok I'm not interested in anything he said before the game or any thing Hartley has done previous or the undisputed fact that he did bite Ferris.
But after the published tribunal transcript how long will his reputation take to recover after blatantly telling porkies.
Now I like the player but will refs now listen to any complaints from him justified or not?

Folks, can we all please simmer down a bit
As I posted yesterday/day before, the ban for Hartley was mitigated because of his clean record (or luck in avoiding citings depending on your POV ) since 2007/08. The bite was classifed as "entry level" because of the circumstances surrounding it (lack of damage done, lack of impact on the match, and the fact that the Committee judged that Ferris's hand was on Hartley's face so Hartley didn't have to move his head to deliver a bite).
Personally I feel that Hartley's act was reprehensible and rightly punished. I'm also disappointed at the factual errors in Ferris's testimony which, had the committee accepted them, would have lead to a much longer ban. IE it's a case of the Grey Knight (Ferris) vs the Black Knight (Hartley).

Here is one occassion of many in this post where you have incinuated Ferris was committing foul play
"maest you dont know the situation- he may have been in so much pain that he didnt know what else to do. If he felt completly helpless and the only way to get him off was to bite- then i dont blame him."
As I said unscrupulous.
err - how you have interpreted that comment in the way you have baffles me beyond belief!
