tigers are by far the best side in England, when Flood gets an arm chair ride like that he's one of the best no10s around.
steve mafi has to be up there as player of the season, though Salvi has to be up there . cockerill has done a good job there, but when you see tigers they are full of strike runners that get them over the gainline time after time, makes a huge difference

i always find that flood looks top class when his pack dominates, but when they get under pressure he can really struggle.
tigers pack is just immense.
only one that can compete is Saints, but without Hartley, Lawes and Wood they dont have a chance either.

Morning guys, back in the country.
Couple of good LBP's for me. Winning away is getting so tough. All to play for with me and nick and steve. May the best team (from Leicester) get the playoff spot

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
we've had a lot of practice defending this season Steven!
can't see newcastle getting 4 tries in the last game, those two tackles and Robinson's 75min penalty was so important for us to get the losing BP, as sure that we'll most likely be bullied out of things by the falcons, we are likely to start 8-9 players under 21 next week!

Scrum has been mad at Sandy Park. Dominance changes each scrum.
Miller tries yesterday were magnificent. He has been the best 15 in the league this season. Brown hasn't followed up his pre xmas form and Miller is the leagues top try scorer and has been simply magnificent.
Scaysbrook today has been unreal.

Brown's been the best back for me this season, never really rated him before this year but like how he's improved his speed and attack.
have liked the look of Miller, but havent seen enough of him as they don't seem to get on tv that much compared to other teams.

Few of my mates went to Newcastle dressed as Charlie Harper the other week and that went down a treat but I'm not sure what the door policy is in Nottingham.

Good to see how the best athletes go though. I am happy with the idea that OZ RL players are the most talented rugby players playing the game. This however is only because they play such a simplified game.

just read that Wood is out of the summer tour to S.A.
and that Steffon will still be with Toulon in the playoffs so will miss out.
Leaves us short at 7 again, if Robshaw gets injured who can step in.

We're going to have to find a couple for the mid-week games too.
Really not sure who we have, assuming that it will be Robshaw for internationals and Dowson for midweek?
Saull probably then most likely if he isn't injured? Shame Salvi isn't English, he's been great this season.
The Exeter no7 has been very good, but dont think he's international level.

James Scaysbrooke is about 32 aswell Chris so can't see him making it.
I wish Steffon was still playing in England , He's been the best back row in the T14 this season.

agree Driver.
Saull is injured for a while I think and Dowson at 7 isnt a great option really.
But who else is there? Seymour? Hows he been playing Steve? Seemed to tail off after a great start.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Personally i would have wallace a mile away from a call up. Has not done enough at AP level to merit a shout for me. Started brightly but then faded and was indifferent to say the least in the few i have seen.
We want youth but they have to merit it. Ford on the other hand is a great shout to go. Hopefully they take Farrell, Flood and Ford and if it comes to it anyone bar hodgson
I watched the first half of the Quins vs Leicester game last night and Jeez the scrum was not what i expected
Fearns looks physically more up to the Job currently

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Fearns needs to be involved with England. He is more physical than any other back rower England have and can play each position.
Seymour is doing alright still just no squads to be selected now so out of mind.
Miller not being nominated for player of the year is sickening.

I can and I will argue with that list Matt.
Rob Miller: Top try scorer, 2nd most metres, 2nd most defenders beaten, most clean breaks.
Reckon he probably should be on the list.

Miller has been great all year although i don't know if i would have him above the others on there.
Whats millers defence like? I am assuming it's not his strong point. I like the look of him but have watched a whole sale game only maybe twice this year and have had to rely on highlights for the rest

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership Season 4 Homepage
Miller's defence is good. Certainly no weakness. His two tries on Saturday were magnificent. His lines from 15 are up there with Foden's and Delon's.
I have obvious bias but I'd have him above Wood and Salvi. Haven't seen enough of Scaysbrook to comment.

Millers stats do make for impressive reading
Tagicakibau has beaten 44 defenders in 9 matches, 5 a match, pretty impressive.

wonder whether there will be any surprise inclusions in the summer touring squad? Pretty certain that Launchbury is going to get picked after being called up to train with the England squad.
would imagine that May will go for the experience - pretty sure Lancaster will go for a few youngsters and looks like a straight fight between Alex King and Wayne Smith for attack coach role.
