How best to describe the quality of the Blue v Ospreys match?
If it was a computer it would be a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (NOT the 128k model)
If it was a film it would be Ishtar.
If it was a YouTube video it would be 240p at best.
If it was a country it would be Turkmenistan.... or Scotland.
If it was a football team it would be Cardiff City.

If it was a referee, it would be Bryce Lawrence?

George Clancy has made every effort to be worse than Bryce Lawrence

Ospreys forwards the only shinging light and that is why they are winning and why they are in the playoffs.

Meh, merely an effort isn't bad enough.

True, we have established Bryce Larence is being threatened by George Clancy as worst referee.

It shows what good coaching can do. The ospreys and the blues probably have two strongest squads in wales and arguably the two worst coaching setups. Players look excellent with the national side and become v average when they go back to the regions.

I know what you mean, but the Blues only had Halfpenny as a regular Wales starter, Cuthbert as a one season international, Bradley Davies who's may 4th choice Wales lock and Lloyd Williams a bit part international player. You can't expect the good international form of those 4 (well 3 as Lloyd hasn't played much for Wales) to carry the whole team. The rest are just not international class. For me the difference was the internationals for the Ospreys. Adam Jones, Alun Wyn, Paul James, Ian Evans: they bossed the blues pack and won the game.
So, for me the Blues squad isn't as strong as you say at the moment. There's only a few decent international players as a load are injured or leaving.

Big financial bonuses on offer with team Wales and there's also pride in the Welsh jersey. That might have something to do with the fact why our international stars underperform for their clubs in the Rabo.

It was a poor game, though the referee (again) ruined it, every point of contact we had a penalty or the referee blowing up and giving a lecture, it was shocking. Potentially a penalty can be given for something at every point in the game, but Clancy simply refuses to allow games to flow, with him you get stop start frustrating games.

I'm not sure Alyn, Clancy did a hell of a job keeping the Blues in the game first half, especially come scrum time!

Perhaps some of the players, like some of the fans, do not feel any affinity with the regions that they are playing for. so as you say passion for Wales, because they are Welsh, passion for Cardiff, well you might have to ask them personally.

That's unforgivable if true.
What about the youngsters coming through that aren't internationals?

I went. Lifeless atmosphere due to the emptiness of the stadium, horrendous prices for tickets (£22!) and for food/drink and a dire game with forwards dominating the game. Scrum was a complete mess for the Blues, but with a pack such as the Ospreys most would struggle anyway. Game was epitomised by the dreadful refereeing of George Clancy. I'm not one for blaming referees but he ruined the game as a spectacle, got two of the yellow cards wrong imo and was pretty dreadful at the breakdown. Poor game and the stadium is just lifeless, terrible to watch a game of rugby there.
