Great stuff everyone, chuffed with joint 1st. Saintys and Sodhats ppvs were amazing :-)

I don't know if you've noticed or not, but I haven't won a match yet either! I left because I was given feedback which I have complained about enough times already you know what was wrong.

Joint first?! Wow, how close was that?!
Hopefully, SCW is on the up now after just 1 win in the first half!

I agree with the feedback on the ladder match not being so great at my PPV, I was really struggling to convey it!
Problem was I'd backed myself into a corner and booked it when I realised that I really didn't have enough to make it much good.

No, Nay has one win and one draw, I've got nil points on shows I've been involved with.
0-5 huh? Well then work on getting a win somewhere, throw in some big feuds, get the Kane/Hogan/Mystery man in the truck feud going and make it an amazing main event feud, push on with Haas and co. Just keep pushing hard.

tbh with the way everyone has been saying how bad my shows suck i'm more likely to get a sympathy win i dont want.
I am genuinly looking at 0-9 and 2 points now.

Re: Season 3 Homepage
Uryu please stop moaning, after reading your feedback its all constructive. It's not as if anyone put that it was the worst ppv ever or that all the matches were awful. Unfortunately someone has to finish 6th in ppv week and no matter how good or bad you think your show was you don't know how others will react.
Back onto mine glad people enjoyed it, that is the last time I'm doing a 7 person ladder match (he says now...). Sod mate, if it helps as someone who is in their third season the hardest matches to write are multi man ladder matches, ultimate x and any elimination matches. If I remember correctly Sainty wrote an ultimate x in his semi/final show (as did I) and both of us were wondering why on earth we booked them in the first place!

If you don't want a sympathy win, then whining so much to annoy them will help make sure of that. Just work hard on your show and something will come of it I'm sure.
I'm about to throw out almost every storyline in my fed and start over to try and see if that works, because I'm willing to give it a shot.

Stunning, simply stunning PPV. The MWB hold all the gold and I cannot wait to see where this is going. I loved every second of the PPV and in fact this might have been the best PPV in WWA history.
Thought this was a great show, and the best of them all. Continued all the stories well and with some niceswerves. Good PPV.
Felt a bit brief this week, and there was a bit of a heel heavy feel, although I can appreciate why (I think).
Brief for me, as I couldn't necessarily picture a PPV with only 4 matches. However, what was presented was good and shows progression and I'm a huge fan of the MWB. Another criticism was that maybe the main event could have been split so that there was fewer participants, so that the card could have been bigger, but that's just a minor thing.
Even with a four match card, Hobo was able to deliver a good PPV. The first two matches were my personal favourites, and although it is necessary for the storyline, I'm not a big fan of swerve endings as shown as endings to PPV main events.
Thanks for all the feedback - for the record, I agree with it all!
I did realise I didnt have enough matches which is why I put in the Morley match at the last minute (yes - originally 3 matches only!).
I should have had qualifiers for the main event on reflection. The heel heavy feel was intended though, so that I will disagree on! My personal favourite storyline is Steiners! I love that guy! And thats the only story I have an end game ready for.
Quick question - If I was to get in to the finals (I guess 2 matches - semi then final), are these part of the regular season? The reason I ask is that I was intending on ending the stories at the next PPV but would I have to have another possible two matches ready? I dont want to have an ending only to then try and somehow extend past the natural conclusions (hope that makes sense)

I definitely bit off more than I could chew, Gregers! I was sat there ages trying to work out how I would end it and then try to squeeze spots in too. Think I'm more content with regular tag matches now.
Well done to everyone on their PPV's by the way, I didn't see a bad one in the bunch.

Does everyone now shake up their storylines and rosters?
I only ask because I'm not sure that some of my storylines are ready to stop altogether and I can probably squeeze a bit more out of a couple of them.

Right Uryu, I'll put my hand up and say that in the PPV feedback, I said I felt you could benefit from a few names being thrown in, but at the same time I said I thought it was your best show to date.
If I knew you were going to throw the toys out the pram due to one constructive comment, I may as well have slated it.
Thank you to everyone for the feedback on my PPV, really happy that I bought my A Game after an up and down first half to the season. I think someone mentioned needing a few more segments to bolster my PPV in between matches, but if I'm not mistaken, there was segments in between every match. But if that's the only sticking point then I'll take that all day long!
I'm looking to mix things up a bit now, and change my roster a bit so should we perhaps set up a thread where can post who we're making available??

wasn't just one week...it was EVERY WEEK someone brought up "get a guy or 2 for your roster" and after saying that I WILL NOT BUY/ SELL / SWAP OR TRADE ANYONE they still do it! that pisses me off! i just also find it disheartening that after i put so much work in that it ain't good enough.

Uryu, buying is a part of the game and your roster could do with a few extra faces. Even if you were to just bring in whoever others have released would help you.
My comments were about people appearing in too many matches (especially Cesaro) and having more people on your roster would help with that

Re: Season 3 Homepage
Easy, I just used it as reasoning for the PPV.
You're overlooking the fact that I (and others) thought it was your best show, and that was mirrored in the voting, which I won't disclose, but the bottom 3 in your league were separated by 4 points.

i'm getting closer, thanks Saint ( and others who said) but Gregers, consider this.
this is my first season, i'm a rookie, i'm doing it this way so i can:
A: Gauge superstar prices
B: See how hard i gotta work on my writing
C: Think up any ideas/ improvements for the season after this
D: TRY to have fun
I am trying but lets face it, its a trial run for me.

Re: Season 3 Homepage
Both Olly and Hobo are rookies too so I don't see why that matters.
A) its a sellers market, if you need a superstar you will pay more than for someone who bulks out your roster. Last season I paid over the top for Orton but my show wouldn't have worked without him. This season I overpaid for several of my queens and definitely for Alex Shelley (and would have done for Kaz)
B) we all have different writing styles and i don't judge shows on that as a priority. If the storylines are interesting and well thought out I will enjoy it.
C) just because you're working out next season doesn't mean that you can't try things next season. Infact I'm shocked by how well taken to my Queens driven fed has been. And I feel that a gimmick can really help the show (talking from experience here Uryu following my iNheritance gimmick for season 2) but can also hold it back. Yes you're 0-5 and got 1 point at the ppv but if you were to take on the constructive criticism rather than moaning then you might start winning. For example I gave you feedback for 3 weeks straight about using too many no contest/draw/double dq/double countout finishes yet the next week they were still there. Whilst I might not always agree with my feedback at the end of the day it is the people who vote who matter in the end.
D) Try to have fun? You make it sound like you're forcing yourself. As I did with season 1 and season 2 I'm loving being a part of WWA and really enjoy both writing my own show and reading what others are doing. I got the idea of iNheritance from seeing someone (can't remember who) setting up Owen vs Bret and thought I'd expand it. Let's be honest its a great league and unlike anything else and Nando/Tooze (and Gav before him) run it brilliantly.
So how about Uryu you take on you're critiques by making your show the best it can be, with the embargo you could include it into a storyline with a heel signing his own protection which he can claim are outside agents (contracted to him not LCW) so the embargo is still in place. Heck go the full hog and sign 5 "outsiders" and run an invasion angle. Those ideas are just off the top of my head.

It's not people being annoyed that you haven't signed anybody, it's just people pointing out that the roster is a little thin. I got the same criticisms in a season where I sold lots of mid carders to big main eventers and had a small roster.
Gauging superstar prices is pretty pointless as next season it will probably change, it only takes one big money deal for all other prices to change. So while some big names go for £30 million in one season, they go for £70 million the next, or £20 million.

A: I had little ideas at the start and my knowlege is limited, heck I have an idea for next season for myself but i need a DECENT clarification from both GM's as to if I can do it DDT style. I took in the loopholes idea to see if it would work and now realise it most likely wont.
B: Telling a good story or writing a good match regardless of competitors is still important.
C: I mean to improve WWA, not just my show and lets face it, was 2 weeks in a row not 3 if you read my counter argument.
D: I WAS having fun, until I realised how much I screwed up and how much my ideas / matches were disliked.
as to your invasion / contract idea: all previous examples WERE ALREADY CONTRACTED TO THE COMPANY or shown on camera by accident, besides i bet they wouldnt allow it.

Exactly, last season Bull paid 80 million for CM Punk, and as a result, set an unhealthy precedent for the rest of the season.

Thank you guys for the voting and the feedback
I'm trying to tone down the writing week by week and it has been slowly decreasing each week but I may have to approach it differently for the 2nd half of the season. I will be on the look out and swapping a few guys from my roster to try and freshen things up.
@ Urya just keep pushing mate, as long as you enjoy doing this then it's all worthwhile in the end regardless of the results. If you want to stick to your guns with the lack of transfer's then stick to it if that's what you want to do. I will however say that I would take notice of the feedback as it does in time help you with the storylines in this. I can remember my 1st season, at the time I was getting quite a bit of feedback about bizarre some of my feuds with who I had feuding with who, try and take it on board

Re: Season 3 Homepage
Whatever Uryu, I was trying to help and gave you ideas to work with the embargo. As per you're comment whether it was 2 or 3 is irrelevant, its still too many.
"Besides I bet they wouldn't allow it" Who are they? You're incharge and have £80 million to spend. Yes you'd break the embargo to sign them but could carry it on in a storyline (which if I'm honest I thought it was going to be anyways)
If you want help and advice others will give it (and the feedback is short examples of what people think) rather than moaning and throwing it back in peoples faces maybe you should actually listen.

Re: Season 3 Homepage
I was wondering who he was talking about to Gregers when he mentions "they" this last line had me puzzled...
"as to your invasion / contract idea: all previous examples WERE ALREADY CONTRACTED TO THE COMPANY or shown on camera by accident, besides i bet they wouldn't allow it."
Now is this a work? Is there a higher power coming in after the PPV who will take control as GM or takeover the show? Are there secret bids in the foreign TP's who will be "They" as he'll have up to a 100 million to spend after the PPV cash is sorted. If i'm onto something this could be something interesting & epic that could well and truely kick start the second half of the season...
