Euro 2012 Section
Welcome to the Euro 2012 section!
With only a couple of months to wait until the tournament kicks off, who is your pick to take home the glory of being the champions of Europe?

Germany, they play some really good Football and also can rough it up if they need to everyone goes on about Spain but I think they will bottle it with the pressure really on them as World and European Champions. Look at some of thier young players and they are mature beyond thier age brilliant players so good on the ball and know what to do with it.
I really like the Dutch a very good attacking side who can play brilliant one day and then lose the next day they don't have the bond or togetherness as other teams too many egos in that side still.

Re: Euro 2012 Section
I am going to stick my neck out and say England.
If England are to appoint Redknapp I feel there will be a better feeling within the camp compared to the 2010 World Cup. I just think that they have more players in form at their clubs at the moment. Hart, Walker, Cole, Young, Gerrard, Parker, Rooney, Sturridge/Welbeck. I think England need a set-up like Venables had at Euro 1996. The players are confident. The coach is confident. I look at their group too and I think that there isn't much for them to fear.
Looking at Germany/Holland. Both in the same group and both have difficult fixtures with Portugal and even Denmark who are no mugs. That group is by no means certain of who is going through.
Spain will have a stern test with Italy and even ROI could pull out one of those stubborn dogged performances. Croatia maybe could be a threat, certainly not playing as well as a few years ago.
You look at Group A. What a fantastic opportunity that is. Russia/Greece/Czech Republic/Poland all have a chance to deep.
Come on England. We have all been waiting bloody long enough!!

Agreed i'll go with Germany, they have a real depth of brilliant attacking players who are all maturing nicely. Spain will of course be there or there abouts, Holland with their attack can't be excluded either. Probably between those three.
France could be an outside bet, a good mix of youth and experience, beaten Brazil and Germany in the last year. Haven't lost in 17 matches?! makes you wonder how on earth they are still ranked 16, ranking system is crap.

I'm not sure who will win, but I think there'll definitely be a big surprise, with a smaller nation getting really far I think. I think Spain could be too arrogant this time around, similar to Barcelona versus Chelsea recently, expecting teams to roll over and that could clost then.
