Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
I'm not sure of Farrell at 12- Evans is an excellent kicker and I think he'd make a better sub 10 covering centre if you have a more dynamic 12 available

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
I would never in this world start Farrell at 10 over Evans....
Balance is pretty good tbh, I'd go AAC at 13 with Farrell

No, i meant Farrell on the bench. Any team that can afford to bench Evans is called the All Blacks!

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Probably talking shoite here but thought Brookes was a tighthead??
Agree about Farrell at 12, not sure he's best utilised there. Think you'd do well with carrying 12. Not neccesarily a world beater but someone who offered more of a running threat as in my mind it would give Evans a split second longer to work his magic.
If i were you i'd look at a 12 as mentioned above, and possibly a bit more experience in the front row.

Pooly -
I know i'm always asking annoying questions, but can someone clarify what the rules with transfers are?
I'm under the impression that..
We have 2 foreigns when this season finishes. We have a foreign U21 coming at some point, that won't count.
So effectively, I could sign 3 players between now and my first league game of next season? is that right?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Just seen the England squad, and I'm for one quite hopeful seems pretty good IMO. Also quite glad to see Morgan isn't out injured!
Prop - would say they are the important ones for now, but a 7 and maybe a utility back on the list later down the line.

Pretty happy that Fearns has gone on the tour, hoping for a big season from him. Really surprised that Palmer has gone.

I like Dawdiuk Prop. Maybe look to get a top flanker in to compliment the backrow, scrumhalf and then a 12
Anyone want to post the England squad? Too lazy to go looking for it!

Cheers Bathite!
Not sure on Youngs at hooker. Not played an awful lot of rugby. Think Whitehead deserved a chance. Wonder what Garvey has to do to deserve a chance? Palmer has been poor this year for club and country. Good to see Tom Johnson in.
Would have liked to see Rob Miller ahead of Goode at FB and maybe Burns in over Hodgson but thats not anything major.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
I swear he was in it, or did I read that article wrong - oh well!
I would've preferred Whitehead, think the ground in SA would've suited his open play a lot. Again prefer Garvey, and Miller. One omission I'm kind of surprised at is Sharples. Did he really play his debut that badly? Or is Monye really better than him atm?

Not convinced with Miller yet, needs another season. Foden, Brown & Goode best choices imo.
Palmer has been awful but experienced.

Yep JJ is. Which makes it even more impressive, shows just how s hite he was at the start, because i doubt he's been pinged much for the last 5/6 games at all
