As a uni house we have. We have a growing collection of pub benches and tables, a sainsburys advertisement tarp, a trolley at one point and also there's still a Christmas tree out front

ENG u20 hooker Scott Spurling (and Max Crumpton, another hooker too) is a Sarries player- may I add him to my academy?

I said I'd have a look at it, but if someone confirmed the Wasps academy player positions. Not really au fait with their players. If someone could help out, i'd appreciate it.

One of the best young FHs around. Good if you manage to keep Wilko as poor weather player as well.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Yeah the poor weather aspect is what i'm most worried about, will have to have a good think about it.
Gutted he's injured for the rugby championships he would have definetly got some game time and to be fair i thought he could push Morne all the way for a starting spot.
I fully expect Goosen will be SA's 10 for a good while as soon as he gets ahead of steyn in the pecking order as long as he is not injury ravaged. Lambie for me will be there 15. I just hope Meyer gives some of these youngsters a go rather than leaving them around the fringes. If he's too conservative and plays a Bulls style game i can see SA struggling.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
The thing is he can't really play a Bulls style game without the oldguard which played that system so well. The new crop of players are also mostly untried at test level. With the talent available, it'd be hard not to play a different game plan.

Lambie is a little pragmatic, more in SA style. I doubt he'd have played this summer as was part of U20 side

I think they've got the foundations to play it , Bekker and Kruger are very good in the lineout.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
But if you play them, you lack the grunt of a Bakkies style player.
It is surprising how much the style and success of the International team depended on the seondrow and scrumhalf, and even the fullback if we included Percy Mont.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
I think they have a pretty physical player in Flip Van Der Merw and Elstadt isn't meant to be a push over.

Elstadt would be good but apart from Bekker and maybe Flip, it's a relatively inexperienced partnership and players, Eztebeth looks good.

Elstadt has stagnated a little playing flank and the youngster coming through. Couldn't go wrong with
4. Flip
5. Bekker/Kruger

I thought he might have missed the June Tests because of the u20's but joined the squad for the rugby championship or i have got the dates wrong?
For me since the rule changes its so much more important to not kick the ball away all the time. Meyer got his success playing this way though so may struggle to move away from it. I just think there forwards physicality would be better utilised if they didn't kick away so much ball.

I saw the Tu'ipulotu signing yesterday. I think maybe a decent back three signing may help though.
