Can just have score predo's and I'll give 1m to keep budgets ticking over

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
We should have finished in line with the league this season Bathite mate but we started a week early and mixed the league/cup finals up. Will have Heino/Amlin and the AW cup as well as the league next year. So should get pretty exciting!
I'll knock up something for the cup during the week. Any sugestions for the foreign sides. Thinking of taking the Heino semi finalists but theres better sides then Edinburgh around so maybe change them to Toulouse or someone to leve out quality in the groups

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
I'll have a think about the 7s then.
4 groups of 3, winner to cup semis, 2nd place to plate semis. Guess we could do the geographical thing like the real competition.
Will probably have some rules in their to encourage use of youngsters.
Rules
- Teams to name a squad of 12 for the tournament, 10 named for each game
- Squads of 12 to include at least 4 academy players
- Max of 2 Non-British players
Schedule
Gameday 1 - 1st Round group games
Gameday 2 - 2nd Round group games
Gameday 3 - Cup & plate semis
Gameday 4 - Cup & plate finals

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Yeah ok, fair enough, will be on the same day as other finals. Just a bit concerned that people won't be bothered with predictions.
Might keep predos nice and easy and use tries only, just go for Leicester 3 - 1 Newcastle type score

I like the idea of sevens. Maybe a brief but not compulsory tactics (like five bullets max) as sevens is quite tactical, and not just about speed and stamina.

Think i'm having tactics and predictions as optional extras, no real pressure to do it

I don't think there's a need for tactics in 7's

I remember reporting this to you at one point Pooly, but it's official now. Will be a handy player to IMO.

Do we just seem to have a policy of signing crap?
Tomsk isn't too bad but McLeod is a poor signing when I was looking forward to see Tui'Fua and Hudson in the engine room

Welcome back!
Missed some quality aviva semis mate, worth a watch if you've got them recorded. Some pretty mental S15 results as well, but haven't seen any games for a few weeks now actually.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Welcome back mate, where did you go on tour?
Lots of stuff going on, and lots of offers coming your way soon
I would like to see Tuifa in the secondrow, but I would rather see an out and out lock there. Macleod was pretty handy at one point in his career, if I were to compare it you could say it was almost like Taylor's at Bath. He pretty much hit a point and went down hill with injuries. Been the same with mac almost - minus being a Lions player!

Once won a £500 bar tab for fancy dress when at uni. Me and the vice captain dressed up as noah and the arc respectively, then we had all our freshers marching in 2 by 2, lions, giraffes, cows, foxes, sparrows. Bloody love fancy dress

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Evening everyone
I'm currently on the hunt for any raffle prizes to help raise funds to kit out my 10s team, if in anyway you feel you could help us please let me know.
It can be anything from a tin of beans to whatever you want it to be.
All prizes would be appreciated and some will even appear on Ebay at a later date to which i will try and get around to posting links to.
Thanks

Re: Fantasy Aviva Premiership - Season 1
Sevens coming along nicely, just Leicester, Wasps, Sale and Exeter to name squads.
Pooly - do you want any sort of prizes for this compo, winning, participating or predicting?
Throwing it out there, maybe the winners of the cup, plate and bowl get to sign 1 7s player each for free? Just an idea, wouldn't affect league hugely, but a nice incentive perhaps?
