Though it will of course help the Ospreys if he misses the next few weeks.

Blues opt for a scrum from a free kick
Result - a penalty to the Scarlets and a free for all in the corner.

First time ever? Really!
We have been the All Blacks at 7s! and Samoa/Fiji all of whom are better than SA.

Edinburgh rolling in their fourth and fifth tries through Visser and Laidlaw.
40-21 over Treviso
Zebo exits the pitch. Munster hoping for a bonus try still.

Munster making quick ball and O'Mahony storms up the left touchline. Ulster repel - just. Scrum Munster in their 22. They win it and attack the line. Close again. And Stephen archer breaks through and touches against the post base. Try being checked by TMO.

Gethin Jenkins leaves the pitch in his last Blues game, allowing John Yapp to end his Blues careers with the last 8 minutes.

And they have it. 31-8 to Munster.
And Ian Humphreys is crocked and concussed possibly. Off he goes.
Lewis Evans gets one for the dragons to close the gap on Leinster. Now 18-22.

Game over
Aironi 11 - 18 Ospreys
Hard fought win for the Ospreys could practice for the play off game.
No injuries either, and the most important players brought off early and rested.

Can't say I agree with the decision as TC looks to have his foot between the ball and the post.
Re: Ulster V Munster, Aironi V Ospreys, Scarlets Vs Blues, Leinster V Dragons - LIVE discussion
And Leinster finish ahead and top the league. Congrats to the Leinster league team. Hopefully their European team can match them.
Glasgow have finished ahead and will head to the RDS next week.
Munster have finished thrashing Ulster and may not be looking forward to playing the Ospreys in Wales without O'Connell or Zebo. Though they are playing with fire and another fine backline move finishes with Tommy O'Donnell storming up the touchline and stepping Gilroy before goin over.
It finishes 36-8.

So Piennar for 10 or will it be Jackson lining out in Twickenham?

Couple of home decisions for Munster I felt, didn't affect the result just the margin - still some promising youngsters for Ulster, Henderson looks the business and I thought McIlroy looked good at scrum half and Cochrane didn't have a bad game on the wing either.

Jackson at 10, Pienaar at 9. Jackson had a pretty good game tonight, in defence he is so much stronger than Humphreys, put in a really good hit on a Munster forward tonight that won us possession.

Marshall is as unreliable at 9 as any of our options at 10; why move Pienaar to his weaker position?

Missed the game bar the last 5 min so will have to rewatch it on Iplayer before commenting on the performances. Sounds like Henderson had a good game for us though?
Desperately disappointed with the result and scoreline. Not good enough really and there clearly is a huge amount of work to be done to bring our second string up to scratch and to develop the depth required to be competitive on 2 fronts.
In general its been a very disappointing end to the league campaign but I think the damage was done with our poor form in September/October and we did well to come back into play off contention. 6th place is pretty disappointing though.
Well done to Munster, best of luck in the play offs .

Great defense by Ulster but no surprise there..cant say much about there attack as haven't seen much of it over the last five games...but seriously Munster should have been out of site by half time and should have put 50 on the board at least...
Don't let Marshall near the first team for the HC final..
O h yeah mrsp...i guess Trimble had to do something to ensure dk noticed him..made contact still cynical..

Re: Ulster V Munster, Aironi V Ospreys, Scarlets Vs Blues, Leinster V Dragons - LIVE discussion
Zebo's football theatrics aside, he was still the best Munster back on show (even though CM got MOTM). Munster fully deserved their win and just mauled Ulster to death. Their pack played Rolland like a fiddle and must have won 75% of the breakdown. POC looked as lean and mean as he has in an age, pity he got injured. Peter O'Mahoney looks far too easy to wind up and that is something he will have to get a hold of. Munster will struggle to replace the consistently impressive Micko for a game like this.
Few crumbs of comfort for Ulster. Henderson showed potential with his try but as you would expect he was seriously green. Birch looked far better then Faloon so it looks as though they backed the right horse there. Spence was massive in defence and kept the score as respectable as a 36-8 humping could be.

I'm worried about the big guy, thats a lot of injuries now. Munster and the IRFU need to hold him back a bit more because the way he plays really takes a big toll.
I hope he makes a speedy recovery but has the summer off

I thought Mafi was the best Munster back yo be honest, he made a couple of the tries and was the most liveliest until earls came on. CM did well but Marshall was so inept he was made to look good.
Thought Spence was poor to be honest all bosh and no brain...
POM is wasted at 8.
