Exams come first Gregers, and it seems like most of us (me excepted) are dealing with them at the moment. I do have a job interview after work tonight though, will try to vote when I get home.

Decent. Got the 40% pass in all of them I reckon, which is all you need in first year! And I know what you mean, after spending weeks waiting for them to be over, now they are over I don't know what to do with myself!

Match 1 - Yorks win in a tight game, last ball win.
Match 2 - Notts win in a comfortable game.

Sorry for shortness, currently doing revision

Hi all,

Sorry my Thursday and Friday were insanely busy at work, and I've been offline over the weekend.

Match 1
Yorkshire Carnegie vs. Durham Dynamos

The Yorkshire weather can only be said to be one thing for this week, grim. Overcast but humid, the ball is likely to swing all over the show, meaning that swingers of the ball will look to be rubbing their hands at the prospect of working this pitch. It will be low scoring and the if a batsman is brave and takes the bowlers on, that may just be the difference.
Yorks win the toss and bowl
Default win to Yorks

Match 2
Worcestershire Royals vs. Nottinghamshire Outlaws

Prolonged sunshine has led to the pitch being dry somewhat and meaning that the spinners might have a bit of joy. That said, the pitch is hard so those who can hit the deck hard might profit from uneven bounce which will keep the batsmen guessing throughout. Batsmen will score runs here though if they get in and play responsibly.
Notts win the toss and bowl first
I think KP will be glad he missed this one. Works struggle against the Notts attack, and only get through to 130 after some late hitting by Shakib. In response Notts get off to a bright and breezy start, before being pinned down by the Worcs spinners. Hussey and Broad see them home in the last over. Win to Notts.

In keeping with the theme, I'll keep it brief this week as I'm meant to be revising...

Yorks by default
Notts edge a close one, with Amla (Worcs), de Villiers (Notts) and Broad (Notts) putting in crucial performances

At the moment it's 5-0 to both Yorks and Notts, looks like we're just waiting on Shanky.

I'm slightly surprised at the margin for Notts, didn't think there was that much in it.

This league is kind of reflecting reality in KP deciding when to make his precious self available Very Happy

He had international retirement on his mind! Very Happy Does that means he'll be more readily available for Worcs now?
