Winky tonight
anybody think hes got a chance? quillin has good power and can end a fight out of nowhere. can lumber a bit though so the fight pace might be ok for an old winky. not sure how much desire hes got though, should have fought much sooner since the williams loss and with his reputation barely on the line, wonder if hes just turning up to go through the motions for what might have been a good pay offer. the tarver fight might be more interesting and also get a chance to check trout out tonight..

Can't believe Winky turned down $5 million for a rematch with Jermain Taylor. What was he thinking about ?

Re: Winky tonight
Well it should be interesting
Don't think winky has much of a chance but he is quillins best opponent to date and won't fold. His defence is always solid and although he was poor I don't think theres too much shame in losing to Williams and Hopkins.
Quillin looks pretty good so far, he does everything well and look like he has heavy hands.
Despite his power I don't think he will stop winky

Re: Winky tonight
Hard to say in these ones. He hasnt fought in 3 years and his only result in the last 5 years was a comprehensive loss to Williams. Nothing much would surprise me. His defence has always been good but hes 40y old its a question of how past it is he now? I think I went for Quillen UD but a stoppage wouldnt surprise me either.

I got 10 on Quillin points. Winky would have naile dhim in his popmp, but now i think it's just a matter fo getting to the final bell for Wink. No fights in 3 years and 40+ years of age; he shouldn't really have a chance, by rights.

Predictable one-sided points loss but no doubt he'll keep going looking for that elusive final payday.

I think he announced his retirement earlier today indefinitely
