Fernando wrote:Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has voiced his frustration with his substitute role as Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk seems to prefer Robin van Persie for the position of striker.

The Schalke attacker netted an impressive 48 goals in all competitions this term, but had to settle for a place on the bench in Holland's 2-0 friendly win over Slovakia, much to his disappointment.

"Angry is probably not the right word, but I have so many questions right now," Huntelaar was quoted as saying by De Telegraaf.

"I can't do any better than last season, I always train hard and I have a positive attitude. There's a chance that you become despondent if you still don't get a chance. I don't know what I have to do to become Oranje's first-choice striker to be honest."

Well if he isn't starting and RVP is that gives me a great chance in my bet with Viva Very Happy

Huntelaar - 29 goals and 13 assists in 32 Bundesliga games
Van Persie - 30 goals and 14 assists in 38 Premier League games

Premier League seen as a tougher league to score goals in.

Huntelaar isn't better than Van Persie, although both are exceptional.

You didn't confirm the bet Olly.

I made the offer but you didn't say yes or no. Looks like the bet is void.

I have a pick of any of your players and you can have a pick of mine.

If its a draw then nobody gets the player.

What do you say? Its stacked so much in your favour that I shouldnt be doing the bet. RVP is the favourite and my players are better leaving me at a higher risk.

How are your players better???
I will take the bet.
Still fail to see how it is stacked in my favour Headscratch

Good work Sodhat, next time bull if you are so sure bring the proof or don't comment.

Fair enough, I don't remember Olly agreeing but it's there not once have I backed out from a fair deal where there is nosmall print.

I will honour this bet Olly, don't wish you good luck OK

Where is Afro he was giving it all the big boy talk about how the rest of Europe are offering lower odds on Huntelaar but wouldn't bring the proof. I asked him to bet me a £100 on Everton and he backed out.

Guess we all know how the real Chicken is Afro no KFC

I'm here Viva.

And I said I couldn't be bothered to find multiple bookies so just accepted defeat on that one.

And with Everton, I offered you the chance to give me odds 1.5 points below the bookies on Everton making top 6. You didn't respond.

I am never going to bet £100 to win £100 on it with you, when I can bet £100 to get £500-1000 with a bookies.

That's not chicken, it called not being stupid

Yep, Huntelaar was the top scorer in all of qualifying, where he played as the main striker with RVP playing behind

However, he could suffer from the typical Dutch approach of becoming more defensive when they play the better teams, so that they play just 1 striker, who will inevitably be RVP

Afro you call me chicken when I'm being sensible.

If Everton make the top 6 this season I'll give you £300 and if they don't you have to give me £100. What do you say? Don't be a chicken all your life.

I don't call you chicken when you are being sensible. I call you chicken when you offer a bet, someone counters it with a very similar bet and you turn it down. And in fairness, I only call you chicken to wind you up.

If the bookies offer 9/2 or less on Everton finishing top 6, I will take that bet. Anything better than that, then I would be silly not to go with the bookies wouldn't I?
