I would have said that as Sod was trying to sell him for a while with very little interest, Lisandro is not that rated

Cracking player, to break into the team past the level of talent they have shows he has real potential.

Plays in a number of positions too.

Don't tell Mouse, but I think selling Cuenca for £3.91m to help fund Lisandro for £10m is one of the most bizarre bits of business I have seen in a long time. Reminds me of CF's Bonucci + £1m for Carragher deal Laugh

I think that was my fave deal of all time.

Or when he finally buckled on Chiellini after weeks of pestering and the rest of the managers imploded.

Laugh The Chiellini one was good, but the Bonucci one tops it, because a season later he bought Bonucci back from me for £20m + Pazienza

My favourite signing was Barrios as a TP. I got a thumbs up from Afro at the time. Pity he didn't move to a PL in the winter transfer window. If he had, he might have been higher rated as I was going to pair him with Cardozo as a Paraguay front two.

Question......who will France start up front with tonight? Has Giroud got a chance with his display in the last friendly?

Who the hell are you to tell me who I can and can't sign. I have twenty five first team players. Lisandro Lopez has scored 15 goals this season. Who are you to tell me who is and isn't better. When you sit and logically think about it it makes sense. The people in charge are wrong. How wrong is the game? Fifa, Uefa, Hero, Afro, whoever you are you're wrong.

I didn't tell you who you could or couldn't sign.

Ok!

Twist - my prediction = Benzema, with Ribery on his left and Nasri on his right, and then a midfield of Cabaye, Malouda, M'Vila if he is fit, Diarra if he isn't. Do I get money if I am right?

He won't get into the match is my prediction. If we can get it to him on the counter then maybe, but otherwise I reckon he is pulled off and Walcott thrown on.

That's a point - how is everyone watching the game what with the awkward kick off time?

Am i the only one who thinks England will actually do well at this tournament all sides are reasonably matches and no one is particularly standing out that they look their going to win it comfortably.

I quietly think we will do alright, but feel the low expectation approach might be our best way of doing something. I've tried the blinkered optimism for the 20+ years and it hasn't worked yet

And I also think Ashley Young is going to be the key to any success. His pace just behind the striker will scare most defences

I'm hoping that at any moment my work are going to tell everyone they can go early for the football.

But as I'm pretty much the only person in today who watches it then it's unlikely.

Workplace of 21 people, 2 like football (and the other one is on holiday).

I'm quite fortunate that they are okay with me leaving early for important events like England games, so with an hours commute, I will be leaving work by 4.

And should some unexpected work come my way between now and then, they are showing it on one of the smartboards in one of our meeting rooms.

Wish I could leave early and watch in comfort at home. I will be staying at work to watch it in a fairly dingy basement and heading back after, possibly drunk and sour.

Yeah windy country roads and driving would mean that is a bad idea for me. Have enough issues avoiding the pheasants.

I have the exact same problem. Hence why I have sky+ it. That means in the 30mins I am behind, I will be able to x30 the ITV half time drivel.

You can't sky+ Football games its against the laws.

For a moment I thought you said peasants

I could see you swerving around kids with rags for clothes with a disdainful look on your face

SOmeone should tell Sky that.

And good luck streaming the game on your phone when the world and wife will be trying to as well.

It'll pause so much that you'll be further behind that Twist by half time

Hero can you not mention the dodgy websites on an Internet forum I don't want to get arrested.

Afro I was watching the Spain V Italy match on my phone and it worked nicely.

Not to deliberately scare you Viva but if you're streaming through legal means (which I guess you maybe won't...) then it may be slow

I had the same issue during the 2010 WC, but only when the whole country was watching on the net too. It completely froze.

Errrr but if you are streaming it on your phone/laptop, it would not be live anyway. I was watching the Ireland game on the BBC website for 20mins, then I switched it on the TV. The streaming was 30 secs behind, so obviously not live.

Anyway, I would do anything to avoid "chiles"

EDIT: It wasn't the Ireland game, it was Holland v Denmark. Whatever it was, the point is still true
