I disagree on full visibility of transfer wranglings as well as it's impossible to impose with a PM system in place on the site.

It's not touting that's required, just transparency. It's the pretend manager version of tapping up in my opinion and if someone agrees a deal out of sight it won't allow others to make a bid should they want to.
Nothing personal against you in these opinions, I just think it should absolutely be a rule we enforce.

I really don't see what the fuss is about guys, when as I keep saying it is me that will suffer (if at all) this week!
I have said numerous times I am happy with whatever edit Marky made. I rarely mention players by name but by position, simply because of the problems like something like this can throw up.
By all means make a rule for after today, but get off Marky's back. Because as the team he is playing against, surely what I think about it is the most important thing.......
I have no problem with it for this week. I will get on with writing my tactics now.

My point is that they shouldn't make the private offer in the first place. If someone offers you an acceptable offer of £20m, you might accept it. But another manager might have been interested in that player for a long time and would pay £25m, then doesn't that manager deserve the chance to be able to bid for the player.
You might still accept the £20m, but the second manager deserves the chance to lay his cards on the table

Don't you think all these Ukrainian and Polish women that the cameramen focus on at the Euros are generally really unattractive?

Noone is on Marky's back are they. Marky hasn't done anything that he wasn't advised he could do.
And there is no issue around you saying it is okay with you. I could argue that I have suffered as I was going to continue my bids from yesterday for Higuain, but stopped because Marky was playing him and therefore I couldn't as far as I was concerned. Had I known that he could resubmit, I would have posted an offer.

Some are and some aren't, they have a few common features though, so I get what you mean. I notice that at an ITV game you get far more gratuitous crowd shots though.

You admitted yesterday to having a Gilf crush on Delia Smith Olly, your views on if a lady is deemed attractive is null and void.

So I have posted my tactics. Now in theory what I could do is ask everyone in The Championship (who votes on my tactics) how good they think they are. If they all say they are awful, I could just rewrite them? Cos if I can I might as well.

BTW, there is also no rule that says it is okay to resubmit your tactics, so you can't use the excuse that he hasn't broken a rule because there is nothing that says he can't.
There is nothing that says I can't help myself to any of another teams players. It doesn't need a rule as it is a general understanding.
In this case, opinion is very much split, so it needs a rule one way or another.

That would be cheating, by gaining an advantage unfairly.
Twist wouldn't (shouldn't) be looking at my tactics anyway, so what difference does it make if I edited my tactics before he'd posted his? None. Is it cheating? No. Do I gain anything from it? No.
I agree a rule about once tactics are in, that's it, final. No editing. Nothing. If that rule comes in I wont be posting my tactics until later on in the day, or once i've decided no-one is leaving the club until after tactics are posted.

Re: The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage page XVIII
I think it has to be down to people's own consciences and a general acceptance of good or poor form.
We can't have rules to cover every eventuality and people shouldn't actively seek loopholes.
In this case I think there is an argument that we set two new rules explicitly however:
The 'Higuin Rule' that no player already in submitted tactics may be sold prior to the match, and;
A rule that tactics once submitted may not be amended in any way unless a request is made to a runner.

If we go ahead with no editing rule then it's a no editing rule full stop and no grey areas.
No spelling amendments, no suddenly realising you've left a player on the sub bench that is injured etc.

My very point here Marky. Common sense can be applied, but in some situations, interpretations can be different and a rule is needed
And I agree Hero. If you are going to go to the trouble of reading your tactics after you have posted (and spot an error), then go to the trouble of doing it before posting

I think within spoiler tags you'd be able to get away with it.
It depends on the quality of the image. If they are clearly a set of nuts then it will be taken down, but if it's a bit ambiguous, you may at least get a chance to explain yourself. Not that there is much you could explain.

In fairness the ruse wasn't about knowing someone who had seen training. That bit was true.
It was the bit about him getting injured that was the ruse

Yes from now on tactics are not to be tampered with unless a reason is given to the runners prior and they agree to it.
