I'm new to this board
Alright folks, I'm new to this board. Reading through the posts, it seems much more sensible and balanced with an entertaining (but not annoying) level of trolling. I've had to leave the other board I followed (scumv) as the ref bashing from the Welsh was infuriating.
As an Englishman, I'm quietly optimistic about England's future. Really need to win all our Autumn games to show real progress.
Wales, let down by bad decision making and an inexperienced captain. I won't mention RP. They need to win big in the Autumn to be taken seriously but fear they won't
Ireland, oh dear. The NZ team and performance would have destroyed anybody.
Scotland. 3/3 so good psychologically. What it actually means in terms of their progress I don't really know

Welcome to the board.
Couple of pointers on here.
Matt Garvey is a god, disagree at your peril.
Tom Croft is the best line out jumper in the world.
At the moment Owen farrell is a limited player, as opposed to best 10 in the world during the six nations.
Tom Wood is still viewed as the saviour.
Oh and Haskell is still viewed as a massive c***

Steve Walsh is a nobber.
It is a legal requirement for each member to mention Gavin Henson at least once a week.
Chris Ashton is the best winger in the world.
Anotherworldofpain is better known as Grey Ghost
Matt Stevens is useless and looks like a pot bellied pig
WHY THE F**K IS PRIESTLAND STILL GETTING PICKED!?

All the worlds Ills can be blamed on Botha
Saracens are the Antichrist
All tigers and Welsh players are beyond reproach and are all "World class"
Never mention coat tailing to the welsh during HC games
Did I mention it's all Botha's fault
Think that's covered everything, safe posting

And always remember that no matter how well you've played for 5-10 previous matches, if you have one subpar game then you are not cut out for international rugby. But if you play well in 2 consecutive club games and do flashy "flair" things regardless of your ability to do the basics, then you are the new Serge Blanco

and all games that your team loses narrowly must be blamed on a single individual - usually the flyhalf or referee.

Welcome to the nut-hutch DTW.
England have been rebuilding since 2003.
Wales can beat anyone on their day.
Scotland are plucky losers.
Ireland would be brilliant but Declan Kidney couldn't find his ar5e with both hands, let alone a winning combination in midfield.
All the above are FACTS, but FACTS don't count unless they are backed up with END OF! END OF.

Listen to PJ, he is very wise. The other way to back yourself is to use "Lies, DamnLies, or STATISTICS"PJHolybloke wrote:Welcome to the nut-hutch DTW.

If you use statistics, your point will be refuted unless you include citations (just like the old teacher who liked to smack kids on the knuckles with her stick told you). Some of us will argue stats are misleading, originating at the Alastair Campbell School of Spin. I am not much of a stat guy, which is a good thing since I can't count anymore and really don;t need to anyway.

new zeland only winning because of the conspiracy not to penalising them.
If is close the other team always "deserving" to win. And if is not close then the team who lose were (a) tired (b) rusty (c) poorly coached (d) missing key injury player (e) rebuilding (f) not interested (g) better than that.

Billy 12trees is considered the english version of Gavin Henson. Basically, the midfield messiah.
He can play 12, 10 and he's not bad on the tighthead either

SA are all a bunch of nasty thugs
the AB's always cheat
Australia can not scrummage and have silly mustachios
Wales could beat anyone on their day
Ireland always cheat (but not as well as the AB's)
England only won anything by a score devidable by three
The French are lazy
Scotland are dark horses
