Well....put it this way Trebs....I broke up my Juve partnership and now you have a very good German attacking 3.

I had that for 2 games this season and worked well for me

Really wanted to keep Schurrle as then I could have gone:

Hazard------Jovetic------Schurrle
---------------Giroud-----------------

That is a possible Chelsea attacking line up next season, with an arsenal player up front.

Twist easily got the better deal.

Two overrated German wingers which cost you Hazard when I was offering;

Tevez (Prem winner) + Ruiz (Rami's Valencia CB partner) + de Marcos (Europa League finalist)
=
Ben Arfa + Cabaye + Musacchio

More fool you IMO. I'll keep my players.

I'm a massive fan of Schurrle, I think he's going to be world class OK

Ruiz is a good player but wouldn't start, neither would De Marcos. Tevez won the premier league but I don't know how people see him because of his attitude and walking out on City.

We'll see later how Tevez is rated when the results come out.

I'm not really annoyed I just genuinely think you made a mistake letting Hazard go.

Well from my point of view I was moving from "Euro 2012" players to "Premiership" players, now the competition is all but over. Reus is playing for Dortmund, and Schurrle I did want to keep hold of because of his chelsea links.

I think Hazard-----Jovetic------Schurrle if they all played for the same team and had a good start to the season, would beat anything on here OK

Vidal is up for sale now as well btw

I know Twist, its domestic league time, hence I don't get why he did 3 Prem players for 1 Serie A and 2 Bundesliga players, when I offered 1 Prem and 2 La Liga players for 2 Prem and 1 Spanish second division player in Musacchio.

Ah well, your gain is his loss. It might work Trebs but I think you've made a mistake.

Surely players are rated even if they play in the Bundesliga??

Hazard might flop at Chelsea. As soon as I signed him I got told he was over-rated Laugh I think that is critical to the deal.

I personally rate Reus as highly as any of the players in that list including Hazard to which you all know I'm a fanboy for! Reus was quality last season and I expect him to flourish even more now he's at Dortmund.

Reus is an interesting one, he might flourish at Dortmund or get lost in the shuffle. Big fish last year to an extent. That said he is very good although for me Shurrle>Reus atm

I agree, I really wanted to keep Schurrle but then I wanted Hazard. If his transfer with Chelsea happens, I may well come back for him. I think Arteta, M'Villa and Cabaye gives me a better all round midfield now.

Once again (shades of me v Olly) don't I get another goal for having 3 wins? There never was any confirmation on whether it was 3 wins or 3 wins more than the opponent.

Borussia M v AC ALSOAM
I feel Borussia's attacking might will be too much
Three at the back this week from Munching was brave but in the end the attacking prowess of ACALSOAM was just too much with the defense getting over-run throughout. Hulk, Kroos and Tevez putting chances away but it could have been more.
Both teams named attacking line ups, and for me Borussia have more attacking talent. However, they have a worse defense so overall it evened out. The line ups were fairly similar and in an attacking game, they just seemed to cancel one another out.
Munching weakened defence unfortunately is their undoing this week. AC constantly pushes forward and dominates the game. Munching is able to attack but AC defensive midfield partnership of Lars and Sven are able to control and make their attacks ineffective.
Borussia started off well and managed to take an early lead but in the end AC Alsoam pulled the game back.
3 at the back was a gamble that v the quality of Navas, Sneijder, Llorente and Di Maria unfortunately failed, the wingers had the room to cut inside and 'watch the wingers cutting inside' isn't actually dealing with them, it's just watching them!

LSN v Viva City
two similar strength teams here and the midfields counteract eacother
A hard fought game between two sides that combat each other really well, Ozil is always going to be key and he produced two moments of brilliance scoring once and setting up Ramires for the other but Viva City stuck to their game plan well throughout. Two goals from Pirlo in the second half seeing them back into the game with neither side able to get that crucial third.
Sanchez and Suarez for the Nannies would have the given Viva's full backs hell. The midfield battle was fascinating with the energy of the Nannies and the flair and passing ability of Viva's side. Huntelaar proved a big problem for Puyol with his pace, overall it was honours even.
a very tight game. Neither team is truly able to put a string of passes together and make a chance count.
both sides even and played well LSN to an early lead but Viva equalised.
Viva's team dominates for the 1st half through the pairing of Pirlo & Monty but with the sub of Monty 2nd half and Pirlo tiring as the game ended it allowed a fresh Nene sub to get the draw

C. Canaries v FC United
2 similar sorts of teams here which counteract eachother out
A very close nervy game between the two sides, a goal in either half from the two strikers were the only action in the box as neither side could get on top in the midfield. No instructions for Bale from Olly either left him bemused out there.
It was a better performance from United today who had a better balance to their side. I'm still doubtful about their defense. I think Canaries could have played with Bale further forward so he had more freedom, I'm not sure they should have gone with five at the back as it left a negative impression.
CC win after and a great cross headed in by Carroll both sides looked strong but CC managed to get the win
Carroll was on fire today in his match up with Breno (literally, the chip fat hair went up well from Breno's lighter), the loss though of FC's main defender was clear. Canaries could have done better if they had given Bale instructions.

Real Ale v Swamp Donkeys
Real ale send attack after attack at AFC and are far more successful in doing so, the AFC midfield struggle
A fast paced match with the adventurous Swamp Donkeys formation getting them an early goal, however then Real Ale calmed down and kept chances to a minimum. Getting back on level terms through Jovetic before a thunderbolt from Arteta put them ahead. The change in formation late on was too much for the Swamp Donkeys allowing Reus to get a late goal to secure the points.
Ale have a good balance to their side, I like their midfield and think they would dominate there. Josue getting back to mark Jovetic was a mistake as it gave the opposing midfield all the time they wanted on the ball. The attacking style did work at times and when the Swamp Donkeys did get the ball they posed a threat, but it wasn't enough.
Both goals come late when Ale change their game plan. It’s a surprise to the Donkeys who are unable to handle Reus
Close game felt both sides where even and played well. both deserved a draw.
For me there was little balance to the Donkeys today and too many players that I couldn’t see backtracking which allowed the likes of Lichtsteiner to maruade and the pairing of Vidal and Marchisio to control the centre.

I'm happy with a draw, was a brave formation change and since tactics i've definitely strengthened my midfield.

Based on my calculations, there's 4 teams at the top of the PL with 8 points and only 3 games to go! Should be interesting...

'watch the wingers cutting inside' isn't actually dealing with them, it's just watching them

I'll remember to put "deal with the wingers cutting inside" next time picard

What I believe that meant Marky was how would you deal with them?

I'm sure it was, but then surely feedback should be along the lines of "you didn't give any details on how to deal with them".

It's feedback, not criticism. Just saying Wink

Treble's Revenge v Straight Edge United

Trebles were in control of the game for majority of time the score does not reflect the game. Straight Edge have improved a lot and could have got something if they were more detailed. Treble did thier homework and it paid off with them pushing further up the pitch pinning Straight edge back.
Solid SEU side but confused by Evra playing RB when he's a LB, when he would have been better marking Ben Arfa he was marking Nolito. Ben Arfa was the one who pulled the strings and it leads to goals for Trebles Revenge. I also think Gotze and Eriksen did well but Trebs did well to stifle the pair with Carrick and Gustavo both playing as DM's. A tight game, and a draw a fair result.
Mistake for SEU with two LB's playing. When you have the trickery of Ben Arfa, you need a solid LB playing. This is so frustrating because Bull had the better team on paper but throughout his tactics it was "mark the player". Yeah but who?! Even just giving a position would have helped. SEU has the team. It just needs its manager to take more care over tactics. It is hard not to give Trebs the win when he has well thought out tactics that combat SEU's best players.
Despite Trebs's efforts to stifle Straight Edge's creativity I think that United can get there attacking game going meaning this turns into a real treat to watch. They go up in the game, however there defence isn't good enough to hold out Revenge's attack and they can ultimately win the game. Also Evra at RB is a no no.
Close fought game between two even sides
Bull has a good side at his disposal, he just needs to up the ante with his tactics and say more about what he wants his players to do. It goes without saying that you don't want them to make mistakes, but it was said every other word. Trebs is well set up as always and I think his plans to deal with Gotze and Eriksen deserve rewarding, as well as playing a high line to negate Klose's aerial threat.

Athletico Bilbao Baggins v Go Ahead Eaaaagles

This was a poor attempt at playing an attacking games, the defence of Eagles were told to play deep which limited the attacking play and Antonini didn't look too comfortable at CB. This made the game easier for Bilbao whos two DM's dominated the midfield and Diarra playing so deep found it hard to pick up Toure.
Eagles had to do something different to combat losing Khedira and Schweinsteiger to injury, and went with a very attacking 3-4-3. Only issue with a deep defensive line was it left Diarra a lot of work to do against Van der Vaart. He coped well throughout though, and when Eagles went forward, Gundogan, Frei and Dembele made a lot of progress against Cambiasso and Toure who were set up to face Khedira and Schweinsteiger. A strong Bilbao Baggins back four could only do so much against the fearless Eagles with nothing to lose, I also feel Walcott had the beating of Cole which created chances for Soldado
With Eagles forced into a formation change, Baggins had the run of midfield with poor old Diarra chasing shadows. The wingers had a lot to do, and the extra man in midfield for Baggins proved important.
I love the gameplan from Eagles of just going for it, rather than playing defensively. This leads to a great game of attacking football. I just feel that Baggins will outscore them, as they are stronger in midfield. But this is not before Eagles have ruffled some feathers and nearly caused an upset
it was a bold stategy from GAE but eventually backfired due to the 4 man midfield being swamped by ABB's 5 man midfield leaving the extra man free to cause chaos
I can maybe see the Eaaaagles getting a goal early but I can't see them keeping the Baggins side out, particularly when they're going wide. I reckon they will draw mistakes and create space that they can punish and eventually they will win with ease. Applause to Russ for trying something different when his entire engine room was kyboshed though.

Jacamos United v City of Norwich FC

It was hard to see Norwich penetrating the Jacmos side, Vidic luckily came up against his type of striker big and strong Didier Drogba someone who he has managed to keep quite on many occasions and it was the same today. The two DM of Jacmos gave protection and also the ball to hit the opposition quick. I feel Nasri could be used better playing wide or further up the pitch.
I think Drogba and Borges had the beating of the ageing Vidic and Ferdinand, I know Drogba is also ageing but he is a physical player who occupies both CB's creating space for Borges. Jacamos control the midfield with Martinez, Gerrard and Alonso but are wasteful with Negredo and then De Jong as the strikers. Missing Lewandowski today, and it costs them all three points
While Jacamos dominated the midfield for most parts of the game, they were wasteful with the chances they created. Although they eventually scored, I feel they could have got more out of the game with a more potent striker.
For me in this game Jacamos take over the midfield battle, with Martinez and Alonso controlling the game with there passing. Norwich look dangerous when they get the ball and nick a goal, but Jacamos's superior possession gives them enough chances to win this game, which they do.
An easy win for Jacamo as the poor defence of Norwich is ripped apart at will major improvements needed along side Thiago Silva
As much as a problem Drogba may be able to pose, the two at the back for Jacamos are solid and crosses coming in won't cause them to lose sleep. With two of the best fullbacks in the game they should be able to restrict CON to less crosses than they'd like, too. 4-4-2 is played rigidly by CON and I can see them being beaten in the centre with two more attacking midfielders playing there. Ultimately their defence keeps this score down but still a comprehensive win for the fat boys (I call rights to that nickname).

I love that people are stupid on here when reading tactics seriously Maxi Pereira = RB not a LB picard . It doesn't take a second to figure that bull has done it on the reverse even a 2 year old could see that and to punish him for that is a joke OK
