Not in Nadal land... where cheating supersedes rules.

I've said this before. Nadal thinks he makes the rules of every match he plays.

It was strange that he had to replay it but credit to Rosol, Nadal wasn't able to disrupt him. It seemed striking that Nadal seemed to be deploying some gamesmanship tactics but they didn't have the desired effect.

I didn't find it striking so much as hilarious.

Re: Play to the pace of the server
I will say this I have never been critical of nadal's demeanor and sportsmanship during a match. i think overrall the criticism of him as a cheat and time waster is way overblown and not justified. But I will say this he did not acquit himself well on this occassion. He continually was slowing down the server and acting all offended that Rosol wanted to play fast on his service games that is his prerogative. Nadal's complaints to the official and attempts to slow down Rosol would have peed me off if I was playing him. So I have to be honest and say that he came off as a bit of douche. Kind of like Fed crying to the media after he got blasted off the court on Match point at the USO. Generally, both guys are very positive figures but today was not the best example of nadal's on court behavior. I have played low level competive tennis and if someone pulled the crap nadal did on me I might not say anything but I would definetly be very annoyed by his actions.
