Thank you Rafa and Rosol

I couldn't see the match as I was out on a dinner......

But I am sure It was a great match. What a shame someone had to lose and there was no trophy for the winner. I know many are disappointed, that their favourite didn't win and one or two may be gloating that Rosol did win... but it was a great match to watch. There is an extra tension when these two players meet. Also both players know each others games so well ( or give the impression to know it really well) and both players play at such a high standard (occasionally) that it's possable to see the sort of tactical play that isn't often present in other matches.

So Thank you Rosol and Rafa! I can't wait until next time that Rafa will be humbled. Hopefully at the USO or at the Olympics and in the final not the early rounds!!!!

Anyway, should it be the end of the line for you Rafa, very well done!!

Yes thanks to both guys it was an enjoyable match got to love the cajones on this unknown Rosol I never heard of him before.

Nadal was completely out of his dephts today and generally he's often so when plays on hardcourts or on grass. I am still thinking: how could he rack up his silverwere on fast surfaces and I am wandering: was he really that good to do that? Did his opponents display big enough cojones during those matches?

Just heard that these 2 had never met before, very surprised. It was Lukas Lacko whos played Nadal a few times, not Lukas Rosol.

Guys, can we be fair for once and give credit when it's due.....I posted this thread for this reason hoping for even the Rafa fans to contribute on here......

You thought wrong. Do you think supporters of a guy like Nadal who uses every tactic to win, will actually congratulate Rosol on his achievement?

Well done Rosol AND Nadal, for a great match. But more than that, well done Rosol for an unbelievable performance that will never be forgotten.

As a Nadal fan I am happy to congratulate Rosol, he deserved to win and played a terrific fifth set. Don't tar all followers of a player with the same brush, it is a lazy stereotype.

Hey P4S, Dont bother explaing to Seifer Almasy. Seifer knows everything about Nadal, his fans, tennis, the universe, gravity, Nadal's thought process, His fans thought process. He is man of wisdom sound and displays godly virtues all around.

Rosol deserve great credit for beliving in himself he can beat a legend like Rafa in prime , these things won't happen that frequently in sport so when it happens it has to be cherished.

So yes great performance by Rosol and yes a great match, Like Rafa said he deserves rest and he can take them now rightfully.

Well done Rosol, well deserved victory. Time to support Fed or Tsonga...
