Re: Realistic Premier League II
guys I have to say, I think your wrong about VDW's defending. He was a CB for a long time before he was converted to RB, due to his excellent defensive capabilities. He was moved to RB because of his sheer pace and stamina, and rarely loses out on 1 on 1's. Just a point

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Anthony Pilkington did him at least 2 times in a one on one situation in our pre season friendly against Ajax #justsaying

Re: Realistic Premier League II
He has though not played well for well over a year! Had a torrid Euros where he was one of the worst of a very bad Dutch team. He was moved to RB because of his speed going forward which he possesses in abundance but he is naive at defending.
Rarely loses out on 1 on 1s? I don't recall seeing him win one at the Euros. He was skinned more times than Leatherface's victims.

Think everyone was awful in that Dutch side, anyone note William's or whatever that LB's name was, good lord now that was bad defending. Seems Corchia may be getting game time due to the views on this board haha

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Corchia I actually wanted to bring in myself and looks a good prospect, just need to raise his profile for everyone as I can't imagine many know of him.
Willems was dire but the lad is 17 or 18 so he has time on his side and can write it off as a learning experience, worryingly though he went to the Euros ahead of Buttner who Utd went in for, who from every report I've read is average at best.

Re: Realistic Premier League II
Will the Newcastle/Southampton fixture be played at a later date in the season as both manager's never handed in any tactics? I'm thinking a mid week game?

So you won't as Villa manager be voting 100-0 on the Southampton v Spurs game?
