Wow, Kagawa is really overrated considering he's never played in one of the major leagues.

Although well done Bull.

Marky, loads of people had Kagawa to score, thought you were unlucky not to get a point out of it though OK You set up well.

But Kagawa is unknown in the Premier League. "Realistically" he wouldn't hit the ground running.

Bull, I congratulated you, now sod off. I don't recall Kagawa doing anything in the Champions League.

Just out of interest how many times have you seen Kagawa play?

and watching videos on Youtube of his 'skillz' or 'goals' don't count :P

I'm talking "hitting the ground running". Sigurdsson, was an ex Premier League/Championship player anyway and returned. Ballack didn't adapt straight away, and Mertesacker hasn't yet Wink

I don't get though how you can be the judge that the player won't hit the ground running, yes he might take a while to get used to the Premier League but the Bundesliga is probably the best suited to a player to then adapt to it.
Who'd have thought 2 years ago that a guy from the Mexican league would come in and score for fun like Hernandez did. If we're basing it purely on what will happen in real life then we might as well just scrap the tactics bit and wait until the real season starts and judge the results on what happens there.

Come on Hero, you're taking it out of context.

Are you really suggesting Kagawa would make his Premier League debut against a physical side like Stoke and score two on his debut, pretty much run the game and even outshine Rooney?

He's a good player but only really world class players can do that.

But it was as a result of your tactics that allowed him to, you had Rooney marked out of it for most parts which in my eyes then gave Kagawa the freedom to exploit and impose himself.

Marky, I think it was more about the tactics. You focussed on Rooney and did nothing about Kagawa and Scholes which was the issue OK

Although Kagawa seems to be highly rated, almost everyone had him to score.

If two strikers though fail to gel do you usually then lose 3-0? Surely that's more when two defenders fail to gel?

My reasoning was it was 1-0 with a few minutes to go, Huth then lost his marker at a corner to make it 2-0 before Walters scored a cracker late on to send the Stoke fans into raptures.

The reasoning of the strikers not gelling was the 0 part.

I think a couple of the smaller sides could do with Distin, not me personally though.

I have a 1.5m offer for Aurelio, and I'd probably sell to a lower club if they beat it OK

In two minds as to whether to accept £18.5M for Cisse.

Good offer and could probably improve my squad
, but not sure whether my first XI would be as good without him

Would you guys agree that CM is where I need to
