Trussman - a credit to the board
First topic message reminder :
Morning Gents,
Well, the unexpected happened, and Garcia knocked Khan out. I said I'd write an ode to how valuable Truss is to these boards and I stick by it as a man of my word.
Truss is VITAL to these boards as an objective viewpoint. Much the same as Azania and those types. You love to hate them. If you have a stalwart opinion you can bet that someone on these boards will have an opposition. Some come forward with reason and evidence such as Chris. While some come forward with insults and arrogance - what can possibly be bad about that? Truss invokes debate. For forums thats always a positive. When new posters see his responses, i can imagine the first thing on their mind is to jump in to the argument and get involved. There's no intimidation factor there, and if I'm honest I think its a good thing he is so patriotic. Steffan, Super D, Derek McKee (Irish right?) etc - all different nationalities rooting for their boxers. He's a positive. FACKT. His writing ability and debating style are TOP QUALITY and I think I speak for us all when I say...
Long live Truss.

Whoever broke the Steffan/Girl50 story deserves a cyber medal as well.

Got to agree with Dave, the ADAD speed theory anihilation was one the highlights of the old 606, although CEEJ's plenty of fish exploits were right up there.

I would keep your nose out of things, Jeff. I am right on the verge of exposing your Pauline1981 alias.

One Two pretending to be a girl was a personal highlight. Closest I've ever come to taking part internet dating.
Not convinced that archbritishchris was D4 - think they just recognised kindred spirits and backed each other up.
Just found the original hand wrap thread and the subsequent thread in which archbritishchris compared himself to Jesus and Ghandi.

Re: Trussman - a credit to the board
The comments here have jogged my memory; does anyone remember that, just before the BBC site shut, Windy posted his article on Eder Jofre 'The Bantamweight Sugar Ray', and in the comments which followed he admitted that he, in fact, had a very well known and somewhat notorious alter ego / alias? I remember him saying that he was considering revealing to all just who it was on the final day of BBC 606, but alas, it remains the greatest unsolved mystery in 606 history!
Any theories? LRR was a popular choice, but Windy was quick to assure everyone that they were barking up the wrong tree with that one.

I thought it might have been Ceej as he was articulate and had a ton of knowledge - it wouldnt take much to deliberate tweak the view to wind us up. I don't think Windy could have maintained a daft alias as every third or fourth grammatical era had him in a rowleyesque fit.

The captain wasn't notorious, one two. I genuinely have no idea - Albert Lion might be the one - always thought that was LRR though (albeit am informed it wasn't).

Truss the fact that I have not banned you yet, despite you giving me around 20 valid reasons a day is surely enough expression of my love for you.
