Quite a lot show Wimbledon when it's on, but I'd love to watch some of the other tournaments down the pub and can never find one.

To that end I'd be very interested in hearing your recommendations for pubs that have tennis on, there must be one somewhere...

Ale

Although we do have a pub-like atmosphere on here at times.

I would suggest online feeds mate to watch the tennis.

Can't say I have ever been in a pub full of tennis fans. I think the best place should online feeds not be accessable that maybe your local tennis club or even racquet club Very Happy

Cheers for the replies - I do tend to use online feeds and follow along on here for that sense of camaraderie!

It's always ace (pun intended) when we watch Wimby at the pub so I guess I was hoping that some enterprising pub would at least show the slams - "Watch Murray here" that sort of thing!

Wetherspoon's Whistle

I've never seen tennis in a pub ever except when Murray reaches a major final. Tennis is not really a "pub sport". Perhaps you should try a bistro or other eatery,

Try Riley's too. I know some of them love their tennis.

Ages ago someone told me how when she was getting through uni she worked in one and while walking through the kitchen managed to step on a mouse and break its back... I haven't been to one since...

Is that a chain? Never mind, just googled them. OK cool - might have difficulty persuading the better half to go there though it looks quite blokey?

Worth a try though, thanks.

The are lasses that go and play pool there. It is a chain. The one I go to I know they have had the US Open, Cincinnati and Toronto Masters on before. The bat staff are easily influenced to change the channels Smile

vomit Charming. I knew a guy who asked for a lager and lime but was told "We don't serve cocktails".

Riley's is a good shout. The one nearest me shows sport on mute on one TV and has some kind of 70s radio station on the other.
