It has nothing to do with the way she looks, she is a blockhead of a presenter.

I disagree. She's a very good presenter, us armchairs tend to underestimate how difficult it is to do the job these people do.

If Hannah Miley wins a medal I'm going to the shops and buying 12 beers.
If she doesn't I'll probably get 16.

Look, i have no problem if she sticks to the horses, she is quality there but when it comes to sports she has no clue about she comes across as really poor.

I thought the commentators said that China hadn't won a swimming gold medal before? Was that just in the mens?

Actually no. There was a world record in the qualifying for the archery yesterday. Depends if you want to count that or not.

Just the mens. China have a history (sketchy or otherwise) with women's swimming.

US women's national team have looked good in the football, played some superb stuff onto a great win. Mexican fella feiced up badly in the archery cost them a medal.

That's one of the advantages of football (soccer) developing later in their country, women playing football isn't seen as odd.

Enjoying them Bill, think I pished off Rava with some of my comments last night in the rugby pub so not all good. I have been relaxing for most of the day after a tough 2 hour session this morning. 24 Olympic channels always something you'll watch!

I think I seriously annoyed him though! Got a PM and everything! Trying to smmoth things over but not looking good. Apparently I'm a Brit hater as I said British people will say this is the best games (they will but every country who ever holds it does), I didn't say there was a problem with that and there isn't having pride in your country for hosting such a prestigious event is a great thing but not looking good!

What happened to Sharon Davies?

Re: Olympics Day 1!
Sharron Davies does the interviews like she normally does. Balding does the anchor role. Even if you don't rate her, you've got to say she's better than Inverdale.

Oh yes. If Inverdale was made of chocolate he'd eat himself.

Re: Olympics Day 1!
GB just lost to Montenegro 31-19 in our Olympic debut of handball. Laura Robson and Heather Watson have just been defeated in the women's doubles as well. Only women's basketball left today for GB I think.

She's a different class. I hyperventilate just thinking about her. She's engaged to David Carry though, people were wondering whether he would be happy with 7th in an Olympic final.
Answer - he doesn't care, he's engaged to Keri Anne Payne.
